Dre did a fantastic job on my son’s haircut! The vibe in the shop was calm and professional. Definitely 5 stars. And I wish that I had taken a before picture so that you guys can see what he had to work with, but it was pretty bad and Dre worked his Magic. I’m all smiles. He will be the only barber we go to from now on.

I always drive past this location and noticed the crowd of clients and I finally decided to test the market for a new barber. Andre is by far the most detailed oriented barber in the industry. He asked questions to ensure the shape and style I was looking for was the end result. We all know looking for a barber home is like finding the lottery numbers, but it worked out. Check out this location on the Historical King Drive you won’t be disappointed.

I have appreciated and valued Success Barber Salon from its inception. The staff has always been courteous and professional. The salon is always clean and free of the loud and often offensive music in other salons. The owner, Andre aka “Dr. Dre” is socially conscious and assist young students with their homework. He even takes time to pray with customers if he feels the need! I have visited Barbershop last all throughout Chicago and this is one of the best by far. Thanks Dre for your commitment to our community!

I got my first haircut here from Andre and he was excellent! Very professional and courteous, Andre was able to give me the exact haircut I wanted. The business is clean and taking extra precautions during the reopening following the global pandemic. More photos should be added to their page on google to showcase just how detailed and sharp the barbers here are. I highly recommend calling to schedule your next haircut here!

Very professional and excellent service. Both my son and i were getting our hair cut and Andre did a great job with both our hair. I like the fact that it was by appointment and you don't have to wait. The place is also very clean and there was plenty of street parking. We are definitely going back.

I honestly loved the experience that I had sitting in Andre’s chair for the first time. Andre is an awesome barber and is very knowledgeable and an expert about his craft. He made me feel so much better about cutting my hair and helped me achieve the style I wanted. Thank you for making me and my Dad feel so welcomed and so comfortable. You are my Barber from now on Andre!! The salon had a comfortable and jovial aura as well. Thank you for the great service.

I’ve been cutting my hair at Success for quite some time now and it’s always been a pleasant experience. All the barbers there are great and professional. Andre usually cuts my hair, he is great to work with and flexible with scheduling (gets you in and out swiftly). Walk-ins are welcome too.

I've been getting my hair cut by Andre (the owner) once a week for the past 3-plus years. I wouldn't trust my hair with any other shop in Chicago. All of the barbers at Success (shout out to Rob, Mac, Max, and Romeil) are professionals who give great cuts, and who are good people on top of that. The atmosphere at Success is always welcoming and positive, and the services are top notch. A friend of mine recommended Success to me years ago, and I have recommended the place to my friends since then. The shop is simply fantastic.
