can't speak english. so i obliged and gave instructions in their mother tongue and they still scuffed the scissor cut. didnt layer, used the thinning shears instead and chopped my shit.

For a whole new year and increasing their prices an almost 50% is beyond crazy. Prices used to be $30 for a regular cut now it’s $40. A $10.00 increase but wait they’re including washing you hair for free… nope. I guess I’ll have to start finding another local señora. $35 would’ve been decent but $40 ANDD A TIP….

Very unprofessional. Two weeks ago I was told to come back because my regular barber has become very busy which is understandable. I respected their decision and arrived two hours after the fact and had great service. During my visit last time, I was told to make an appointment going forward and was advised by my barber directly to call in to make the appointment. Today I called to see if my barber is available for a specific time slot today. I was told yes and confirmed that I would arrive at 4PM. Upon my arrival, I was told by the barbershop owner to book the appointment by text next time and that she was busy. I was never told to text or make the appointment any other way other than calling in by my barber. I was visibly annoyed. I called and confirmed 4PM by one of the staff members and was told to wait despite having arrived by the allotted time. Never coming back here!!!

Haircut here was decent but not great. The barber literally took a facetime call to chat with his girlfriend in the middle of giving me a haircut and it was so weird. If you come here there is a chance you will have a better experience than me but if I am paying these prices for a haircut I expect more. I won't be back.

I had a horrible experience at these very unprofessional barber shop. They will yes you to death, tell you everything is fine and professional, they will not tell you prices beforehand and will leave you with a huge bill. They will also not make any adjustments if they screw up, they literally painted my face black with dye and shrugged their shoulders when I asked about it the way the dye was applied

New to Chicago and this was my first cut. Just picked this shop randomly through its reviews. I’ll tell you this, it didn’t feel like my first time going there. Oscar and everyone was very welcoming and I felt like I had been there multiple times. I had no complaints with my cut neither. Really good establishment🙏

I’ve come here as a walk-in for a haircut and never had an issue. This most recent time, Oscar cut my hair and was great. Very professional and friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Always a great experience here. Took my son to get his 3rd haircut he's ever had and Daniel did a heck of a job. He also did a great job with my first cut from him. Great atmosphere here and a family place.

Very attentive barber, very friendly, has an appetite to please his customers, his business is nice and clean which is important on first time customers for impression sake. Gave a great Taper fade and showed attention to detail, only downside was he didn't take credit card, hard to find in the city but prices were average ,nothing astronomical. It's right off the pink line and you can find plenty of street parking , check him out if your in the neighborhood.
