Absolutely blown away by my experience at Relentless! I found this shop through Claude AI (yes, really!) and I’m so glad I did. Medo is not just a talented barber he’s genuinely honest and looking out for his clients. I had booked the Chicago package, but he took the time to ask about what I actually needed and recommended I go with the haircut and beard package instead, which saved me money. That kind of integrity is rare and so appreciated. The haircut itself? Perfection. Medo really listened to what I was looking for (professional, low-maintenance) and delivered exactly that. He asked the right questions, gave great suggestions, and the attention to detail was impressive. My beard trim was equally sharp everything lined up perfectly. The shop has a great vibe classic barbershop feel with complimentary drinks and good energy. But honestly, it’s Medo’s skill and character that make this place special. He could have easily taken the extra money, but instead he made sure I got exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a barber in downtown Chicago who actually cares about the quality of their work AND their clients’ wallets, Relentless is the spot. Can’t recommend Medo highly enough. Staff were friendly and attentive. My stylist was Medo, who also happens to be the owner. Very easy to talk to while your hair is being styled. The atmosphere is very inviting with that old barber shop vibe.

Ambience is very pleasant and building is accessible easily by the street. Medo is very friendly and accommodating. Also got a great eye for hair, so don’t hesitate to ask for his opinion!

The folks here are super nice and eager to cut your hair. However, what I think is a little frustrating and upsetting is that you can book with a specific barber but they will change it after the period to cancel your appointment has already elapsed. So, even if you have done research and have chosen a specific Barber because of your preferences, they can change it without allowing you to cancel because they will charge you the entire fee. With that being said, my first haircut was pretty good and my second haircut was OK. You do not get bad haircuts, but for someone who cares a lot about their profession and hair, this place is not for me and I find it to be unprofessional to orchestrate a system, where you will not know who your barber is even if you book and pay for the person. Once again, everyone has been nothing but nice kind and professional, whilst in the shop itself, and I mean this with complete constructive criticism and kindness. I found a different place to go to, but I wish this shop nothing but success in the future.

I walked into this barbershop with my nephews for a haircut. The staff wasn't aware but we were getting ready for the Chicago/Midwest emmy awards and my nephews needed grooming. The staff was amazing, everyone was welcoming, extremely friendly, and attentive. We were able to help the owner test out a potential barber while handling our task, and the haircuts were not simple. It made a high note of my family's trip to chicago and I won an award at the ceremony later that evening. I'd highly recommend anyone going to this barbershop.

I’ve been coming to this shop practically since near grand opening and haven’t looked in another direction since. Very sophisticated, classic man ambiance with a great group of young men. Music is always a vibe. Very hospitable offering complimentary beverage options. Relentless merch & products for purchase have quality. I got the hoodie from them and it’s very thick and sustainable! Overall the shop is very welcoming to people of all backgrounds and all the barbers are talented with their clippers! Big shoutout to my barber/the owner, Medo. I’ve not only gained a great barber, but a newly found friend/brother. He stays keeping me fresh! Really hoping this place stays around forever.
