Jr Barber never showed up for his appointment. The barbershop was dirty and smelled like paint. I would not recommend it. Wasting my time.

Sorry but barbers are individual you can talk and post a review on jrs booksy the shop has nothing to do with your appointment with jr. Also it's obvious the shop had a new paint job and was fresh, it doesn't mean it's dirty lol we have everything on camera. And shop is always clean

I’ve been coming to get my haircut for a lil over a year now and my barber Sebastian always gets me right! Good prices and the environment is cool to chill with. Sebastian does everything you could want and he’ll never do you dirty! 10/10 Always recommending my friends come here

Been seeing Juan for a little over 12 years and his haircuts always are spot on. You can say that’s because I’ve been seeing him for a long time. But his attention to detail is apparent while being equally exceptional. That much is evident while sitting in his chair. The barbershop is spacious with plenty of places to sit. Rarely see the place in a disorder manner. From my perspective, these guys instill professionalism accompanied by cleanliness towards their work and their space. If you’re looking for a quality barber to see consistently, this is the place to go.

Well i got over price for a haircut & brought my son to he charged me $40 for my son & $40 dollars for me also $10 for my beard well children cuts are cheaper everywhere just moved to the neighborhood kind of disappointed i dont mind paying $35 $40 for my cut but for children $40??? Dude said $90 total i gived him $100 he also asked if i would like my change i always tip i use to tip my barber $20 $15 tip my old barber did a better job for $35 & children $25 Also the place was very disorganized & had liquor in the salon thats not professional wont be going there anymore there prices online clearly says $35 adults his name was Juan by the way

Yes you’re very incorrect , let me explain why. When you walked in you never asked for prices. Do you need screens shots of my business google profile to show you my prices are not on Google and have never been . I also have your txt messages of me explaining why I charged you 90 USD and why you were confused .Check my services on Google and about business page and there’s no pricing at all. Why lie ?Also my prices are not on Google and have never been on Google. Every new customer that has came to this shop has always asked for the prices for each individual barber. Since we are 1099 workers we keep our individual prices to ourselves for our customers. <br>Disorganized? My shop has all the hospitality and couches you need , it’s always swept and mopped, thanks for lying I can show you on my main cameras with exact date and time .I cut you and your son you said you really liked the cuts . When you paid you asked how much and I said 90 , 40 for each cut and 10 for the beard and you agreed and left happy . 35 dollars would be for a 4 year old or under, once again you never asked once on prices you just sat on the chair right away, that’s also on camera. <br>That day there was no one in the shop. You did not see anyone have drinks of any class of Licor. I have cameras to show you with no hesitation . There are only 2 tequila bottles on the shelves are all for display, those bottles are always in the same place same shelve all the time they don’t move.( those bottles are clase azul bottles). You should know as a barbershop it is not permitted to have any Licor substance while at work. Once again my prices are not on Google all my barbers and customers know we all have individual prices… but why lie …

Jr sets up appointments and rather squeeze in other people than to honor the appointment he already had. I would understand if we were late but we weren’t. If you book here they might not honor the time they give you.

Hi, excuse me but if you booked with jr through booksy you can please give him a review on booksy please . <br><br>You can respectfully remove the review from the Google please since the platform is personal not related to booksy. The barber lounge has no relation to your appointment nor experience since you booked on a different private platform.<br><br>Also jr had a walk-in customer, we all give the right to all customers to come and get a service . You were asked to patiently wait 15 min and it would be your turn and did not give jr a chance to start. Keep in mind we also take walk ins especially on a busy Friday. You should come with more time and be mindful of and aware of any circumstance than can occur that can delay your appointment time .

Jay took us with no appointment, and spent a lot of time making sure that my son loved his hair, which was ruined by a previous barber. He did such a great job. The place is very clean and I highly recommend it!

It was very easy to book an appointment online which is always a plus on top of that Juan did an amazing job on my sons haircut today. So happy we found a barber so close to home. Will definitely be returning!

New Era Barber shop is freaking awesome. My mom cut my hair for 27 years, but in seeking something new, I went to Juan for a quality men’s hair cut; this was the place to go. The established is comfortable, the price is affordable, and the past three haircuts I’ve gotten have been outstanding. It’s crazy how he remembers exactly what I like, and gets it right every time. I will go here as long as I live in Chicago, and suggest you do as well if you’re looking for a quality cut. All of the other barbers work looks outstanding as well, and the other customers always seem pleased. Thanks Juan, much appreciated.

My 5 year old son begs me to bring him in to the barbershop! Juan is awesome with him and with all his other clients as well. He takes his time and knows exactly what will look good on my son. Also, he has an awesome billiard setup and a basketball set up that my kid loves!

My son and I stopped by New Era on 05/02/24. We were greeted by a family friendly environment and barbers. My barber Juan took his time, engaged in good conversation and most importantly gave me a great haircut. He provided good style recommendations and you can tell he knows what he is doing. My son got a haircut from another barber who was also friendly and patient w my 7 year old. He left him looking good for his first communion. I recommend stopping by and letting them know what you are looking for. They also have a lot of other barber shop services like shaves, lineups etc.
