Today meant more to me than just getting my daughter’s hair done. My autistic daughter got her locs done here, and the experience was beautiful from start to finish. The stylist was incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding. She moved at my daughter’s pace, made sure she felt safe, and treated her with so much kindness and care. What touched me just as much was the environment of the entire barbershop. It was truly inclusive. There were no side eyes, no staring, no judgment — just respect and good energy. As a parent of a child on the spectrum, that kind of space means everything. My daughter was able to just be herself, and that is priceless. And on top of that, the locs came out absolutely amazing — neat, healthy, and beautiful. You can tell she takes pride in her work and truly cares about her clients. Thank you for creating a space where everyone is welcome. We will definitely be back. 💛✨

I was referred to this shop ! I was looking for a same day for all my boys and they literally got them in and out within 2 hours!! I have 7 boys!! My youngest is 1 and they were absolutely incredible! Reasonable prices! Great atmosphere! Feels like family! & a safe place for my kids. They were comfortable and content! That doesn’t happen at a lot of places 😂! I highly recommend!!!! Best Barber Shop in the city! This is the one!! I won’t be taking mine anywhere else! Thank you!!!!!!

I love the atmosphere and barbers, they are very Good people. This is the place to be for a haircut or any doing of the hair. If you ever need a haircut I have $5 towards your next cut

INCREDIBLE experience!! I walked in for a lock wash and retwist and Reyna was ON POINT 💯 She was Very thorough, and really took her time to get my hair done right! She freestyled and came up with something I’ve never even seen before. I can tell she really takes pride in her work, and I will def be back! The environment of the whole shop is dope honestly. The owner K is mad cool and is a huge pillar in the community. It’s a great feeling to be surrounded by such positive energy! Longevity Barbershop is the only barbershop I go to in Chicago. Period!!!!! 👌🏾😮💨 They also cut my cousins hair and did a fantastic job! I will share pictures of both! Thank you Reyna for taking such good care of my hair!!!

I grew my locs out for over 10 years and had just recently chopped them off to start over. I was in the area and picking up a few things from the dollar store. I looked across the street and noticed a Barber shop. I walked in and they asked me what I needed. I told them and KD started right on my cut. The barbers and stylists here are amazing. I’ll definitely be back. In all my years I’ve never had a lining done so well. Definitely worth every dollar!

Yo, so boom 💥, I needed a haircut and a shave, for a Job interview. TBH I didn't know what to expect, I was there hella late and as a walk in my expectations was less than Ideal.... But KD really looked out for me! I didn't mention that the interview was in Dallas, Tx ... But I got the job and I'm really impressed with the customer service, and the cut! Thank you for everything!

The people here were very inviting and friendly. My son’s barber was gentle, kind, and my son loved his haircut. We will definitely be returning. This is are new go to spot.
