Rachael Z. is the only person i trust with my hair. I have been in pursuit of a reliable barber who does a solid job 100% of the time and, after years of searching, I finally found that in Rachael. Quick, detail-oriented, and (factually) the barber to teach all barbers (it’s true, she teaches people how to be good at this stuff)! She’s always down for a good chat and you’ll walk away from her chair looking wayyyy better than how you did coming in—i’m sure of it. So thankful I decided to do a walk in one day!! It’s easy to find a place for a haircut, but so hard to find one you are actually happy to come back to! Melanie is fantastic at what she does, I always feel great about myself after a cut. The vibe in the shop feels very local, and part of the neighborhood. I look forward to coming back here

My 1st haircut at Lincoln Square. Bo gave me the BEST haircut I’ve had in years. Took his time with me and gave me the cut we discussed. (I relied heavily on Bo’s advice and expertise!) Great conversation in the shop with everyone. Join in the conversation or just listen (and laugh).

I’ve been going here on and off for a while. While I appreciate them posting the amount of time for a service, it rarely is worth it. First, they ask what kind of cut. That’s expected. You tell them and think it’s okay but it’s not. Either it’s way less than the time or way over the time (I understand it may be less if you have shorter hair or more if you have longer hair). Second, they turn you around from the mirror. How are you suppose to see what they’re doing? They pay more attention to the tv than the haircut. And lastly, they ask if the haircut is okay. It’s great! Are you suppose to say terrible and have them fix it? Btw, I asked for a line not an airstrip! How can you fix it when it’s done? Shave my head? I’ll have to say it’s convenient to pay cash or Zelle!

I love this spot! It's comfortable, clean, and a fun mix of old school barber shop vibes and modern features. Melanie is the best, and is one of the only barbers I've ever had that can take my vague explanation of what I want and deliver exactly what I'm picturing in my head. She's kind, quick, and easy to chat with. I'm so glad that I found her and this place ☺️

Melanie gives the best skin fades out there! She is super friendly to talk to and I will always come back to her. It’s so hard to find a good barber in Chicago, but I love this place so much. Love Melanie and her kindness.

Gabriel has cut my hair twice and beard once at LSBS, and his work has been incredible both times. He’s very detail-oriented and goes the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted out of my haircut. I am 100% going to be returning and booking with Gabriel for every haircut for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been going to Rachel a while now, and I have to say, she’s absolutely incredible. I have tricky hair, it requires close attention to get not just a good, but great fade. And let me tell you, Rachel not just meets but exceeds expectations. I constantly get compliments on my hair. I absolutely recommend her.

I’m really particular about my haircuts, so it’s hard for me to find someone I trust—but since moving to the neighborhood in 2023, Melanie has been my go-to barber. She always takes the time to listen to what I want and delivers exactly that every time. Her skin fades are super clean and blended perfectly, and she’s great at offering suggestions when I’m ready to switch things up. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a barber who’s consistent, skilled, and easy to talk to.

Great barbershop! Rachael has been cutting my hair for 6+ years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She does a fantastic job every time and I always get compliments after a fresh cut. She's also just a fantastic person and great to catch up with. 10/10, would recommend!
