This place is great, Manny is great. Each of the barbers here seem to set a high bar for the competition. I’ve been to a couple different Platinum Fades locations over the years for instance but this is the place I travel 30 minutes to each way to get that fresh fade

Vero is not only incredibly skilled but also one of the very professional. She always remembers my previous cuts and knows exactly how to maintain or adjust them based on what I want. Her attention to detail and communication are top-notch, and she’s super flexible when openings come up. I always leave her chair feeling confident and well taken care of. Couldn’t ask for better service!

Been going to Vero since I moved to Chicago (2 years ago) and I’m so glad a friend recommended her. She’s always super friendly, makes you feel comfortable, and every haircut comes out perfect. Vero is always on time and will do her best to accommodate your schedule, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend her!

I always look forward to my appointments with Vera. Not only does she give an amazing haircut, but she's also very friendly and personable. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you sit in her chair. She takes feedback well if anything needs to change. It’s rare to find a barber who is both incredibly talented and genuinely great to be around. If you want a great haircut and a great experience, go see Vera.

Vero did an amazing job on my haircut and beard! She’s got a great eye for style and precision — the fade was smooth and the beard lineup came out perfect. Super friendly and professional, she really takes the time to make sure everything is on point. Definitely coming back and recommending her to everyone I know!

As a client of John Garcia for over 5 years, I can say without a doubt he is the best barber I've ever had. My haircut is relatively simple; however, he takes his time to ensure every single detail is perfected. John is also a kind, funny, and charismatic person. Although this isn't necessary for a simple haircut, his attitude and demeanor make me look forward to catching up with him every time I need a new cut. John ensures he is never overbooked so that his schedule is accurate and timely, and he has accommodated me when I am running late or need to reschedule. This experience has kept me coming back despite living far away from Lakeview now. Kings Barbershop is a great place to get your haircut. All of the staff are friendly and are always laughing and having a great time when you visit. The music is on point; I can't describe how many songs I've gotten from them over the years. When John was away on vacation or booked out and I needed a cut, every other barber that I've booked with has done a great job as well. John, and the rest of the staff at Kings Barbershop, assure you get every penny of your money's worth and enjoy your haircut experience!

Veronica at Kings Barber Studio in Chicago is the very best! She has been cutting my hair for over 6 years now. She is dependable and always on time. She is extremely detaied in her work and always wants to ensure that my needs are met. She has a great attitude, is very genuine and an overall great person. She is probably the most consistent barber that I have ever been to. I stumbled upon this barber shop while looking for a place in my neighborhood to get my haircut when I first moved to the city. Veronica cut my hair and did an excellent job. Fast forward six years, I no longer live in the neighborhood, but still make my way up to Kings every month to have Vero cut my hair. Everyone in this barber shop is kind, personable and good at what they do. The environment is fun and welcoming, while also being professional. I'll never go to another barber shop for as long as I live in Chicago.

This barber shop has consistently been a positive experience for me. It’s a comfortable and enjoyable environment every time I go into the shop. All the barbers have a great relationship with each other and are passionate about what they do. I’ve been seeing Vero for the last 7 years. I like the service she provides so much that I travel 30-40 minutes just to see her. She knows exactly how to cut my hair, has been prompt and communicative, and I’ve never had an issue. I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a new barber.

I've tried so many barbershops over the years in the Chicago area. Overall, the experience has been decent. Good but not great. King's Barber Studio bucks that trend. They are all incredibly talented and well-versed in what they do. I would personally recommend Zeus. He is highly skilled and meticulous...down to the last hair. Literally. He will not let you leave his chair until he has thoroughly inspected his work and it's perfect. I've never had anyone cut my hair as well as Zeus. Although, I must say, I'm a very vigilant person and I've never seen anyone leave with a bad haircut. This place knows how to cut hair!
