After trying several shops, this is my go-to. Every barber is first-rate, and the vibe is very chill.

I had Angelo, and low key I feel like he kinda rushed at cutting my hair, and it’s not like I have a shit-ton of hair it’s the fact that I almost paid $50 for a hair-cut I could have gotten at Supercuts for $27. It’s okay to be rushy, but at least do a good job, I wanted a zero on the sides nothing on top, and have him kinda blend the top part with my head, but he just used the machine and didn’t even bother blending it, and once he saw he had a new customer, I got the sense he needed me out of the chair, I understand it’s a service, but I will definitely know better not to come somewhere where I’m just seen as a number especially when the person who did this service for you looks very similar to you. It low key stings.

NOW OPEN SUNDAYS! I was pleasantly surprised to find it open last Sunday and got a great cut from Vitaly. He’s going to be a great addition to the barbershop team

No bullshit instagram barbers here. Just real barbers giving solid, clean cuts, and real cold beer in that fridge. And if you’re feeling like you need to treat yourself after a long week - do yourself a favor and get the hot straight razor shave.

This was my favorite barbershop but the last time I went, the guy cut half my hair. I'm not joking- he only cut the left side and I had to ask him to cut the right, so he took a buzzer to it. And this was right before a trip out of town so I couldn't go back- had to re-cut it myself. Good barbershop if you don't get the guy with the longish hair and the hat. I left an $8 tip and I'm still salty about it.

Owner's response

Im calling absolute BS on this buddy. No one would ever shave half your head and leave it, unless you asked for it.

Nice guys, relaxed atmosphere, great haircuts for a great a price. Just be warned that 1) there will be a line at most times of day (because of the aforementioned pluses) and 2) they only take cash. Well worth the trip to the ATM, though.

Jon and crew are the best barbers around. Always a friendly welcome and great music - it reminds me of hanging out with friends in their band practice space, if those friends had actually been super clean and knew how to decorate. And if they could also give you a great cut fast at a very reasonable price. Genuinely great guys and a great business.

Been going to Jon since they were at their old location. Friendly chill barbers. Bob is always chill when he's in the shop. Even though I'm now in the burbs, I still will only come here for a nice cut.

Great neighborhood barber shop with very friendly and professional staff, especially the shop dog. I went in for a beard trim and the results were light years ahead of anything I could accomplish by my own hand. Very reasonable prices and a comfortable, clean and relaxed environment. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I haven’t been to a barber shop for many years, I shave my head and I’ve been trimming my beard myself. I’m so glad I stopped in, my beard has never looked this good and I realized how much I miss the vibe of a good old fashioned barber shop. And the Globe is right next door for your Scotch Eggs and beer needs. Top marks. Do yourself a favor and drop in.

Awesome old school barbershop. They have beer in the fridge while you wait and a dog in the shop. John also did a great cut!
