If I could give this place a 0, I would. I showed multiple photos of what I wanted and gave specific details and directions. Instead I got the worst haircut of my life. I told the guy to take barely anything off the back and the top because I want a mullet but no he takes everything off. My hair is uneven and was cut terribly. I have had bad haircuts before but this was on another level. I thought this place was going to be good but I thought wrong.

I've had the undershave for a few years now, & have been wanting to get a few designs shaved into my hair, I stopped into Headrest barber shop, Chino did an absolutely beautiful job, & gave me a truly unique style with zig zags, & hearts & a great fade. I love it! The shop was clean, the stylist were all friendly, & it's just a cool place to get a haircut.

Just got my hair cut here, I was lucky enough to be able to do a walk-in, and it was amazing. This place has great service and a really good atmosphere. Everyone was having fun and joking around and it made it feel really welcoming. Antonio was the one who did my hair (but everyone there is good at what they do) and was able to make it look good which is a pretty impressive feat because my hair is not great. Unfortunately I don’t live in the city so I can’t make it my go-to barbershop but if you’re in the area and need a haircut I would highly recommend it!

Just horrible don’t go to this place unless you going to Antonio from my honest experience the African American girl can’t do hair at all just scammed me for 100 bucks damn near scammed for another 35 before I just walked out I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you ask for Antonio other than that don’t. Go to the girl she ain’t right she know my hair was f#%€

Was in from out of town, and needed my hair faded. I am super picky about people cutting my hair, so I looked at many reviews before taking a shot and trying them out. They got me right in. Great atmosphere, and great people. Kev did an amazing job, and has a great attention to detail when cutting hair. I frequent the city fairly often, and will definitely go back when in town.

Terrible service I repeat terrible service!!! I came to town for my daughter basic training graduation. The barber seemed very friendly, I guess he was sizing me up. I told him I was from out of state that’s when he figured he could RIP me off. I asked him prior to getting my haircut the price Eric stated 35 dollars. That’s was kinda of pricey however I agreed. So when he finished I asked him for change for forty and he stated to me your haircut cost 40 dollars. Bad buisness will never go back!!! On top of that he wasn’t even a good barber. This is terrible and the owner should fire him that is a direct representation of him as well.

I have been coming here for a year or so now, and I can say from personal experience that all of the barbers are equally meticulous and friendly. I have a couple guys that I usually request out of habit (Jason and Manny) but honestly, you will be equally impressed with everyone. They all ask you exactly what you want, check with you as the cut progresses, and do detailed work. The price is great too. It's quite simply just a cool, friendly neighbourhood place that I look forward to visiting every few weeks. After trying at least 10 barbers since I moved to Chicago, I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's official. Side note: I also have a hilarious memory of the shop (back when they were located right in the middle of the congress hotel lobby, as opposed to on the corner with their own entrance) when a gay leather convention was happening in the hotel, and every barber working that day was curious and totally fun about it. No homophobia at all. So if you're a gay man like me, you won't have a problem here either. Cheers guys!

This barbershop is outstanding.. Great atmosphere.. Great location but most importantly great barbers. Jeff Smith hooked me up. He was great but his fellow barbers are outstanding as well. Next time I am in CHI-Town I will be back. If you in CHICAGO and need a cut.. GO there

Wow!! I am Wowed!! Wish I could give more than a 5 star rating. I'm new to Chicago and needed to get a haircut. Saw the reviews on here and decided to check it out. It's beyond amazing. I didn't have an appointment and walked in. I was attended to almost immediately. The guys were so funny I laughed the whole time there. Very funny and lovely people to be with while cutting your hair. Wish I was able to cut my hair everyday.
