Ambiance and service was nice but the actual cut was really badly done, unsymmetrical and chopped, if anything avoid the younger less experienced gentlemen if you want a good haircut

Jawabi is hands down the best barber I have ever had. His fades are perfection and his attention to detail is admiring. Jawabi has been cutting my hair for over 4 years now. I get compliments after every cut. Highly recommend Jawabi, he’s one of the best in the game.

I went to Goodmans Barber Lounge every month for over 4 years but unfortunately moved away recently. Through that timespan, Sam gave me a 10/10 haircut every time, which is astounding if you think about it. He never had a bad or even mediocre day. Perfection, every time. Guaranteed. Through that 4 years I had a lot of big moments in life, and he had me looking at my best for every single one of them. Whether it was my engagement, a bachelor party, my wedding, Holidays, vacations, and everything in between - He made sure I looked like the best version of myself. Recently went in as a walk in and Yaz took care of my haircut and beard. He made sure to pay attention to the details and ensure I left happy with the cut. Been back twice since my first review and Jawabi has taken care of me both times. Highly recommend and has me coming back each time I need a cut.

Hands down the best barber (jawabi) and barbershop around! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and full of good vibes. My barber is an absolute artist — they take their time, pay attention to every detail, and genuinely care about making sure you leave looking and feeling your best. Every cut is consistent, sharp, and exactly what I ask for (or better). Whether you’re getting a fresh fade, a classic cut, or even just a lineup, you can tell they take pride in their craft. Plus, the whole shop has a chill energy that makes you actually look forward to getting your haircut. You’re not just another customer here — you’re valued. This is a very Elegant place to get your haircut done. The receptionist offered us beverages while we are waiting in their classy and comfortable waiting area. Comfortable sofa, elegant but masculine style of the place impressed me. Barber Sam was very knowledgeable and good at his craft. Glad we got him, my fiancee liked his haircut a lot and how San styled his hair for our wedding. I was observing and all of the clients seems very happy of their services here including us. It's one of a kind having your haircut here. This place is very confident and proud how their place look because it was beautiful in every angle. Very instagramable barber shop. (Not like the other barbershop that will message you to remove your photos of their place because it wasn't presentable enough to be in the reviews.) There's parking around the area too. As in, around this barber shop. So it was very convenient to drive and park here. We will be coming back here and this would be my husband's barbershop from now on. Highly recommended.

In the last two years, I've been to many Barber shops/ lounges all over these United States and by far this is the best. First the long and varied list of services they do is overwhelming at first. Hair, beard, manicure, pedicure, facials, shoe shines and more are available. They stock an incredible amount of products in the lounge. The space is bright, clean, and spacious; with comfortable chairs in the lounge area. Water and hot beverages are available, while waiting, or while in the chair. Every detail is perfection; from the barbers professional dress, to the layout, to the design of the stations. I was fortunate to have Yaya as my barber on my first visit. He was friendly, professional and talented. The quality of the haircut was amazing but the overall experience was the best I have experienced over many years. Kudos to Yaya and the staff for a wonderful experience I will tell my friends about.

It was my first time a Goodman’s today. I had never had a fresh shave from anyone, so I spoiled myself with a razor shave, and Facial. I booked online, and ended up with Yousef. He was quiet, but extremely friendly. I am hairstylist as well, so it was nice to sit there, getting pampered without the small talk. When I tell you, it was one of the nicest experiences I have ever had, that is an understatement. Yousef started with my razor, beard clean up. I was scared, knowing he could cut my Jugular at any moment. Lol. I trusted him completely. He was gentle, and made me feel very comfortable. After the shave, I’m not going to lie, I didn’t want to get a facial in front of Chicago Av in broad daylight. I was surprised when he brought me to an extremely calming spa/type space. I was relaxed, and at ease. He is the man! The facial was rejuvenating, and so relaxing. He could be a little heavier handed though(I love a deep scrub), but it was completely relaxing. After What seemed like 7 rounds of hot towels on my face,(loved every minute), I passed out. It’s hard for me to calm down, always anxious. This beautiful place made me feel at ease. I work at a 5 star hair salon, and we pride ourselves on customer service, and professionalism. I walked out of this amazing space wondering if we should team up. Lol. I can’t rememeber the last time I have a top notch service like that. 20/10, unbelievable. I’m so glad I found this Beaut! Also Yousef, you are GREAT at what you do.

These guys are super professional! Especially Sam he always do a great job he Is barber in the city of Chicago! I can’t wait to go back for the Men’s SPA treatment.
