Booked a 9 am cut. Showed up at 9:03, and the lights were on but the door was locked. I knocked several times and waited for Arthur, but he never came.

Been trying to find a good barber in Lakeview. I would avoid this one. The guys running it are friendly, but the service is bad. The haircut I got was not what I asked for - it was too short on the sides, and too long on top. When I got back home, I ended up shaving my head. Giving it 2 for the atmosphere and staff, but the haircut was just not good.

I’ve been going to the Corner Barber Shop for almost 20 years. The owner Artur and is chair mate Mikey are amazing and will take the best care of you. From a cut to a hot towel shave, they can handle it. It’s an old school barbershop where you can just hang out and chat with the guys while you get a great cut. They also love neighborhood dogs stopping by during the day and always have treats on hand!

My hair was "out of control" and needed to be fixed. I found The Corner Barbershop from a search and it was convenient to my hotel. To me, this was the Cheers of barbershops; everyone knew everyone. The place has literally been there forever as you will see when you go inside. It's a cross of all things Barber from old fixtures, original barber chairs, a barber pole and what appear to be hanging fixtures from the 70's. I appreciate the barber chairs. I got a good haircut AND a hot towel along with good conversation with Arthur and Mike. Pricing is very reasonable. I didn't have an appointment but it's a good idea to call first.

I've been going to this barber shop for a while now and I've never been disappointed. The barbers are friendly and make you feel like you're hanging out with friends rather than getting a haircut. They're also funny and have great banter, which makes the time fly by. And of course, the haircuts are always top-notch. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great haircut at a great price

I had a great experience at this barber shop. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. The barber I had was funny and kept me entertained throughout the haircut. But most importantly, the haircut itself was fantastic. I left feeling like a new man and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
