Not a great experience. The entire cut was finished in less than 15 minutes. Went to the car to grab cash and noticed my sideburns and around my ears had been missed. When I mentioned it to the barber he got visibly upset and annoyed. Th argument was not worth it for me. At that point I paid the full cost of the haircut (with a tip) and left. Cleaned up my sideburns at home. I wont be heading back.

I’m glad you feel that way, you’re not welcome back

Great place - these guys are all pros, and I shall not go to another barber as long as Mike Banker walks this earth.

Michael had good communication on what style I wanted and hooked me up with a clean cut. 10/10 would trust him with my head again.

Took my 4 year old for a fade and the barber was really great with him. Super patient and friendly. The cut looked awesome and my kid was actually happy after. Will definitely go back.

Pro tip, if you have no idea how to explain your haircut and don't know why you're faced away from the mirror at an actual barbershop you aren't a pro therefore need to STFU about giving "pro tips". You probably go to Supercuts normally. That being said, this is a solid traditional barbershop. If you don't know how to explain what you want show a picture.

Came in looking for a simple scissor cut trim for a wedding I had the following weekend, but came out with the most botched hairline imaginable. I merely asked for them to clean up the style I had already had prior to walking in since I was happy with it and didn’t want to switch up anything before such an important event. My barber proceeded to inspect every bit of my hair before the haircutting process and asked if I’d like to clean up my hairline? To which I responded ‘Sure, but keep it natural’ and making a note that I do have a cowlick in one of my corners. Being in my teens, I know my hairline wasn’t receding, but somehow, someway I walked out looking like mid-2000’s Dwayne Johnson. (No disrespect to the Rock.) I’m not sure why the barber thought it seemed like a good idea to make me look like I had gone through a divorce and a midlife crisis at 16. Unfortunately, I was forced to get a buzz cut and start from scratch a few months later becuase the grow back was too atrocious to handle. Pro tip: Make sure your barber faces you towards the mirror when cutting your hair so you know when they shit the bed, seriously have no idea when they face you away. No amount of refund was worth the half year it took to grow my hair back.

That haircut was your poor communication, and you got your money back.

After dawdling around for 5 minutes, the "Barber" finally allowed me to sit in his chair, and after asking me what I wanted, I removed my glasses and turned to my right looking for somewhere to set them - and dude told me to "calm down"…BYE! 1. Learn how to talk to your customers. 2. Learn how to not look like you just got out of bed even if you just did. 3. GFY. 4. I miss Billy, the original owner. Now I remember why I stopped going there after he left.
Owner's response
Billy may have put up with your impatience but I will not, thankyou for not returning

Every old guy has "a guy" for everything life throws at them. A car guy, a towing guy, a water heater guy, etc. After years in the city and a mixed bag of haircut quality, I finally have a hair guy. The team is great, but Damien is especially precise in his work. I've yet to leave his chair with a bad cut and if I did, I know he'd address it. Bring cash, bring cash tip, and let the dog approach you. This is the way.

I've been getting my hair cut here for about 5 years now - really nice guys who make good conversation and are also content to let you just enjoy the experience. Recently had my wedding party come in for shaves before the big event, and they did not disappoint. Bo and Michael in particular are really friendly. Cash and appointment only, which I personally think makes it a much more genuine experience.
