Natalie is an expert colorist, and has done some extremely impressive ombre and multidimensional hair colorings, color styles that you'd never be able to get anywhere else. She and Bashir have lifelong experience and this is their passion. Natalie also has professional experience with kids that are scared of hair cuts, for whatever reason, especially kids with sensory issues. She will turn your child's trauma around with her calm and compassionate personality, and her beautiful smile. Bashir is an expert barber that knows all of the latest trends and what men, teens, and kids want when it comes to getting a barber shop cut. He's a perfectionist and makes sure that every customer leaves his chair looking flawless. The shop itself is comfortable and stylish, but also very unique. It's a 5 star neighborhood salon/barbershop that really represents the people of the Southside of Chicago. I noticed they have so many regular customers, that some come by just to chat, hang out and confide in both Natalie and Bashir. They have very reasonable prices, and will always give you realistic advice when it comes to what's best for you, individually. Like I said, there's something special about this salon, it's a rare gem to find a place you'll love going back to, again and again. I absolutely love it there, Natalie has done my hair for over 25 years, and my 2 boys (12 and 9) love both Natalie and Bashir for their desired trendy haircuts and styles. You will leave not only feeling great about your hair, but also the overall experience. If you need a quick cut, if you love a stylist who is like a friend you can confide in, or if you just don't know how to choose where to go - This is the place where everyone is welcome. Bashir also is bilingual and speaks fluent Arabic, and they both will go out of their way to understand you and what your needs are if English is not your first language (both Bashir and Natalie are proficient in using Google translate) Many forms of payment are accepted too. There's usually a fresh pot of coffee, a beverage cooler with juice, soda and water, and a large flatscreen TV to enjoy if you walk in and there's a wait. Found Natalie and Bashir this past year and have since recommended them to everyone! Great service, convenient and affordable for all of us. We love their shop dog Bear the Chow, she makes salon visits even more sweet. Laid back, friendly vibes without pretentiousness. Love them.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Barber Experience Ever! We brought my son in with super long hair and a lot of nerves, but his barber totally made his day! He joked with him the whole time, made him laugh, and excited. The cut came out perfect—exactly what my son wanted—and now he can’t stop saying how much he loves his hair and his barber! He keeps staring at himself in mirror. The vibe in the shop was awesome, everyone was friendly, and you can tell they really know how to make kids feel comfortable and confident. We’ll definitely be back—my son’s already talking about his “next haircut appointment with his guy!” 😂✂️

Never have had a bad haircut. Always leave feeling fresh and excited to show off my new haircut. I work in an office environment and I come here to make sure that I maintain a professional and well maintained look. Besides the haircut quality the staff is amazing! And if you're lucky you may go there when their little black puppy is there too!

Natalie is a very talented hairstylist. She knows how to create beautiful hairstyle that complement the client’s face. In addition she’s very good at texturizing the hair and uses wonderful products like moose and gel especially like the way she blow dry my hair. I hope you like her dog bear the most beautiful chow chow too.

Took my son here and we loved his haircut. He told me give 5 stars mom and I agree! We came here because his regular barber was too crowded. He said he wants to switch to this one. I would have added a pic but can't figure out how to. Very friendly people also.

I was very pleased with the quality of the cut I got from Bashir. He listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the service, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality men’s haircut.

Bashir is nothing short of spectacular with clippers in his hands. I asked for a quick cut, he not only exceeded expectations, but he gave me advice about how to strengthen my hair and keep a healthy scalp. Very honest and professional stylist. The entire atmosphere was very cool and clean. Loved the cut so much, I had my close family sit down in his chair the next afternoon. 5 stars.
