I really dislike being a first timer to a barbers shop. However, I am glad that I was referred here. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door and was treated like I had been here a million times. After a brief introduction, I received professional service in a timely manner. The price was cheap and the service was golden. Great experience!!!!!!

The Salon was clean & welcoming! I was met by Ms. Wallace once I entered and we had a conversation about the service I wanted. Everyone was really pleasant. Ms. Wallace cut my hair and I was very pleased 😁 I'm sure that I'll be returning as well as referring others.

Every 1st Sunday of the month, there's an open mic set hosted here. Yesterday (2/5/23) I went; it had been a few years since I've gone. They are still doing the dang thing. If you are a spoken word artist, singer, storyteller, instrument player, or any form of expressive artist, you should check it out. Does open at 7pm. There is an entry fee: $5 if you're performing, $10 if you're observing. I've never not had a good time!! And from what I've seen, the hair stylists are pretty dope too!!!

Both of my daughters had Doreen Morrow to style their hair. She is a lovely and cheerful person to be around. One of them has had Doreen to style her hair several times. She is careful and attentive to details to know what looks best. She asks the right questions to find out what you are looking for and makes it happen. My daughters have two different textures of hair and have two different styles. Doreen was able to give them both what they wanted and needed. She sell products for maintenance and gives helpful advice on keeping your hair in good condition. She is on time, doesn't keep you waiting long and follows the guidelines for COVID (masks, not crowded inside). The shop was not noisy and very clean. The other stylist were positioned to meet social distancing requirements. Everyone in the shop was friendly and are also able to cut, style, braid hair well too! You will feel welcomed and you will want to come back.

I love this place! Tameka does my hair (fabulously might I add), but all the stylists & barbers here are amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

All of the reviews seem rather nice. Glad that this was ur experience! My son’s experience has been POLAR opposite! In this day and time when there’s so much to do...RESPECT people’s time! The main barber had my son waiting for an hour before he even started his wash and cut! Then, he took an hour on the style ;which isn’t too bad). When I phoned him asking if this is normal and if he thought that this was fair, he made excuses and got defensive instead of apologizing and using my concern to BETTER SERVE! One year prior, my son went here and left with a lining, from a different barber, that appeared to have been done with very dull liners. Very poor customer service.

March 2nd was my first time ever in a shop and the experience was very entertaining. The staff is very professional and is there to help each other out. The atmosphere is suitable for any age. I had to go a second time and brought my family. Thanks to my stylist Issac for the awesome color and style.

A.J Styles is the best place to go! I can honestly say all of the babers and stylist do their thing here! So feel free to sit in ANY CHAIR & u'll be well taken care of. My son always get his hair cut here and we will remain loyal

Excellent Customer Service and very helpful staff. I visited AJ Styles Barber & Beauty Salon to get my hair done for a family members wedding. Unfortunately, I waited until the last minute to make an appointment because my previous stylist had cancelled. I called and spoke to Anthony and Dorene and I was able to visit the same day and I was out of there in less than 2 hours for a sew-in. All the staff at AJ Style Barber & Beauty Salon works together to ensure they customers are in and out. I was also very excited about my hair and I will be visiting again very soon. Thank you AJ Styles Barber & Beauty Salon for putting customers first.
