I booked with Shawn it was my son’s first time getting his hair cut. Shawn was so patient and was able to calm him down. Not only is his patience amazing he really paid attention to detail, and has overall good service! My son’s hair look so nice for his birthday. Happy mama here ☺️

I met Shawn at a different salon some years ago so when I decided to cut my son’s hair I saw him here and I immediately said yeah let’s go! My son is on the spectrum but I knew Shawn specializes in servicing children with disabilities & he’s so patient. He’s the ONLY person that can cut my son’s hair. I recommend him to any person that has a child with a disability. Shawn will absolutely ensure the child is comfortable, process with be painless & fun. Prior to Shawn I was the only person who could ever touch my son’s head. Truly the BEST

We’ve been bringing our son to Barber Shawn since he was just 1 year old. Shawn is the definition of professional—always punctual, respectful, and welcoming. His experience shows in every haircut, and he consistently has our little man looking sharp and fresh every time. It’s not easy to find someone who’s not only great at what they do but also patient and kind with kids, and Shawn checks all the boxes. We truly appreciate the care and attention he gives during every visit. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch barber!

Nya is very talented and passionate about what she does. From what I've seen, she will get you right every time. Other than great skill and talent, customer service is a very important concept to grasp in the service industry (whether it be food, hospitality, beauty, entertainment, etc.). I'm sure this doesn't happen often, but here are a few things that went wrong during this visit: - Over 30 minutes late for the first appointment of the day at 11 AM - Double booked the 11 AM time slot - Serviced another gentleman despite us being there first - Did not take the appropriate steps to rectify the situation - Didn't get in the chair until almost 2 hours after the original appointment time - Did not apologize or take responsibility for disregard of time Acknowledging mistakes is so important, as it shows you value your customers' time and accountability. A productive response to the situation would've looked something like this, "I'm sorry for being late, I had an emergency (or just make something up). I can get you in at _____. If that doesn't work, we can reschedule for ______." (I'm also humbly giving this advice as someone who worked in food/hospitality for almost 10 years while being responsible for training and training materials). Yes, she did offer to look after him while waiting, which was sweet. However, we drove 40 minutes to this appointment, and I had things to do back on my side of the city. Watching him wouldn't have restored the lost time. Despite the small inconveniences that day, Nya is extremely talented, passionate, patient, and pleasant. She still offers quality service. Thank you.

This is a little disappointing to hear. We truly apologize for the inconvenience & confusion with your appointment & for Nya getting double booked & being a little late that morning. She was stuck in unexpected traffic that morning. This is not a usual or regular thing. This is the first time this has ever happened. After speaking with Nya she explained how there was a confusion with the date & time on your appointment as she booked the appointment with the child’s father & there must have been a miscommunication & misunderstanding somewhere. We truly apologize because we pride our business on being professional punctual & customers satisfaction is our number one priority! We have since corrected this so it will not happen again. I came to this hair salon last minute looking for a shop that would cut and braid my grandson’s hair for his graduation pictures they took us in as a walk-in the girl who braiding my grandson’s hair was super nice and patient with my grandson and Shawn was absolutely amazing he was great with my grandson as well very patient and kind because my grandson can be very inpatient and fidgety but he took his time and was gentle with him. He did a wonderful job cutting his hair! I would definitely come back again and also recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great place to cut and style your hair especially your child’s.

Shevy did my daughter's braids and it turned out amazing!!! My daughter can be a handful so I appreciate her patience that she has. I definitely would recommend her!!
