This was an amazing experience as usual, Im happy I found their new location. I highly recommend 💖💖💖 My hair is beautiful and feels so good! ☺️ I left a big tip cause girl it was WORTH IT. My hair is 4c and thick, and now it's light and fluffy.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 3 years! The service is very professional, the products are authentic and the people are genuine and the best at what they do. It is so hard to find dedicated stylists that are committed to evolving and keeping up with beauty standards and ethics. I get my locs serviced by Lisa and she has single handedly cared my mane to my mid back. Healthy and strong!! Love love love this place and pray they stay around long time 🙏🏽

I have been coming here for the past 16 years and I refuse to go anywhere else. I live the entire family and am always so happy with the results. I have thick, thick curly hair and they can do anything from braids to color to a blowout and will leave me with how to maintain it too. Cant get better than this!

The Roots to Ends Salon is located in Jacaranda Square next to Donna’s Jamaican restaurant in Plantain, Florida. I’ve been going to this salon on and off for the past ten years and still remember when it was located previously at the Westfield Mall (now Broward Mall). Initially I made an appointment to get my Locs colored (highlighted tips)and retwisted. However, I changed my mind last minute and decided to have my hair dyed black instead. The initial pricing for a color service starts at $95. But when as soon as I sat down in the salon chair I used Yelp to Check In which to my surprise granted me a “20% off Cupon” for any salon service which I happily accepted My appointment was slated for 11am but because I like to arrive early for any type of appointment I was in the salon chair getting my hair color done at 10:30. The process of applying the color to my hair did not take long. But sitting in the chair to wait for the color to take to my hair did take a while. After sitting in the chair for about 45 minutes letting the color absorb in my hair it was time to have my hair washed. I will say that I did like the shampoo and conditioner that was used in my hair it smelled very nice and my hair felt moisturized. After the hair wash I sat under the wash I sat under the hooded dryer for about 30 to 40 minutes. Before leaving the salon I decided wanted to purchase the Twist and Loc gel that they usually use to retwist my hair. Upon checking out I was told that the gel would be $38. As it is a big jar of gel and I figured it will last me for a while. Before presenting my cupon I was told I would be charged $125 however since I had the cupon I was only charged $100. The total amount of my bill including the hair gel was $138. The pricing of the hair gel bothered me as the most I’ve ever paid for gel is about $20. So l looked up the brand online and found that they are only $16 each. I definitely take responsibility for not doing my research beforehand regarding the cost of the gel however, I will not be going to this salon again as the pricing is too high for the services provided. I cherish the memories that I have of going here in the past however, Roots to Ends is not the same salon it was ten years ago.

I came to this store 2 weeks ago for a wash and a trim. Usually I pay about $55 for a wash and blow-dry without a trim. On my last visit, I was charged $50 for a trim and $65 dollars for a wash. I have never paid more than $20 dollars for a trim at different salons and they did not disclose the price to me before trimming my hair. I left very unhappy and I will not be returning. I have even recommended family members to come to this salon, but they will not be returning either.

I've had a difficult time finding a place that can cut my hair the way I want. Looking around and going to 4 other barber shops, each one left me disappointed and unsatisfied. When I saw the positive reviews here, I decided to try them out. Leonard was extremely helpful and patient while listening to me explain what it was I wanted. Even during the cut, asking if I was ok with what it was he did. There was also another amazing woman that helped me while I was there. Definitely a great place I would recommend and I will definitely be going back.

I give Roots to Ends 5 stars not just because the service is impeccable but also because I genuinely enjoy my visits with them! The team is fun, down to earth & they make everyone feel “at home”. I first started with Jennifer, over a year ago, who styled my unmanageable coils into a perfect short cut until I decided to shave it all off, and started going to Leonard who raised the bar in women’s buzz cuts. He knows exactly how to sculpt the “buzz” in a manner that’s feminine & flattering to your face/head shape. He won’t steer you wrong & consults with you along the way until you’re fully satisfied. I recently moved to Tampa and have held out on haircuts until I make it to the area, as I often do for work. I won’t go anywhere else!

I’m so grateful to have found Roots to Ends. Jennifer always does my hair and she is truly gifted. I have stubborn grays and the quality of color she uses does not fade. She takes great care when coloring, washing and styling my hair. She is very personable and thorough. Every time I leave the salon, I feel like a new woman. It also makes me happy to know I’m supporting a local business.

Great service, very friendly, absolutely professional . This is place you must visit you will not regret it, they can do any hair style you wish. Take a look at my hair it turned out amazing with the color dye that was applied to it, excellent job.
