Great haircut and overall experience. One improvement opportunity is the online scheduling process. It would be much easier if the site showed which stylists are working on each available day. Right now, you have to click through every stylist to see who’s working on the day you’re free, which is pretty frustrating and time-consuming.

Kayla at Highlands Ranch (Dorchester St) is an incredible and innovative hair stylist! She takes her time to understand your vision and flawlessly executes it every time. She'll also let you know if a cut will not give you the desired effect and why....something I really appreciate. My entire family goes to Floyd's 99 because it's so much more than a barbershop. It's a fun experience!

This location is bad. If your hair stylist is a no-show for the day, the office manager never calls you to notify you. So you end up showing up and then that’s when they decide to tell you. This has happened on multiple occasions, however they go through store managers like water. They also move your appointment with someone random that you didn’t originally book with.

I know toddler haircuts are a gamble, but this felt less like a haircut and more like a crime scene. My daughter’s bangs are microscopic and wildly uneven. The worst part is we paid $33 for bangs that won’t grow back until kindergarten and scream “core childhood haircut trauma.”

Every time I get a haircut here it's a 50/50 if it will be good or not. I got a cut and although it was competently done it was absolutely not what I asked for. Did things to my hair I did not tell him to do. Cut it way too short. Did not double check before he started cutting. Faced me away from the mirror the entire time. They are good at cutting short hair but seem to have difficulty with medium length hair.

Booked online to get my haircut. Put long layers haircut in my service choice selection when booking (at 1pm today).... Booked myself an appointment based off of the times available for 6:00 p.m.. just went in and was told they could not accommodate me because the stylist they put me with does not normally do long hair which is totally fine even though it scheduled me for that service with that provider..... And after saying that to me, the person at the front then said also you're a little bit late so we already canceled your appointment. It was 6:04. Now I get that technically. Yes I was a little bit late but I believe the reality is the person does not do long hair so you could have just left it at that because I don't want a bad haircut by somebody that is not comfortable cutting my length of hair. That would have been fine... to cancel my appointment because I was 4 minutes late though and turn the blame on to me was somewhat unnecessary. Maybe I'm just having a grouchy day in general but definitely will not be taking myself, my husband, or my children back to this location based off of this one experience.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. I booked an appointment for my seven year-old son and needless to say it is not easy having a 7 year old come in for a haircut. I was told at the counter that the person who booked my appointment did it wrong and only booked us for 15 minutes instead of the needed half hour. As a result, they would not be able to see him and have to rebook me. I made this appointment several days ago and has been very difficult to get an appointment overall. I told them that I can’t come back again and that they should honor the appointment and they said they would not. I will never come back here again. To be honest, the last several haircuts have not been very good.

Unfortunately my latest stop in was not very good at all. I did get a haircut in 10 minutes however it is far from sharp and clean. Had it not been for product in my hair at the end, I may have caught it in the lot before leaving and tipping $40. One side looks completely forgotten in terms of cutting and blending. (See Images) Worse, in my mind, looking to get a quick.... QUICK... fix and they have nothing available for two days. Can't even squeeze in a 5 minute fix first thing in the AM so I don't have to wear a hat to work for two days. Previous visits have been pretty good, just a cut, nothing special but nothing bad. Pretty disappointed, I'm going to be looking for a new barber in the area.
