Great barbers - looking 10 years younger. Particularly enjoyed being strapped to the chair, letting Cruz do her thing. Would 100% come back again and will bring friends.

Go see Eli… He’s a great Barber! Listens to what you’d like you hair to look and is super honest about what he sees. Never steers you towards a cut you don’t want. He’s the best barber I have found in LA since moving here 3 years ago and I’ve had him cut my hair at least 5 times or more so far. I saw a review of Eli saying negative things and I am sincere in saying he is nothing but the opposite of what I read in that terrible review. Or maybe Eli is human like all of us and may have had a tough day. I don’t see having to wait some minutes for an appointment as a big deal. I guess some just think they’re more important than they actually are. lol Yea. Go see Eli…he’s fantastic!

Gloria is the best! Great conversation and an even better haircut! I have thicker, unruly hair and she did a great job cleaning it up and making me look great for a night out.

Great, friendly atmosphere. I've had excellent cuts from both Eli and Alfredo. They both took the time to give very detailed and precision cuts. Highly recommended!

Adrián was great and moved on. Eli took Adrian’s place. However, he has a bad attitude and poor sense of customer service. I had an appointment and he was running 15 minutes behind. I was in a hurry and asked if I could come back later when I wasn’t rushed. I had a last minute business meeting, to prepare for a funeral today, and a doctor appointment in San Diego. Eli said ok for a later appointment. Then a few minutes later I received a text message: “Hey this is the only time I’ll ever be able to reschedule your appointment. There’s day where I’ll be a few minutes behind. If you can’t understand that and we don’t see eye to eye I am not the barber for you. In the long run I’m only going to be busier.” After two years of coming weekly for haircuts, that is the kind of appreciation and understanding. I would not recommend Eli at Iconic if you are looking for a barber who cares. They have now lost my business.

Hey Jonathan , so sorry to hear you had a bad experience. At Iconic we try to provide quality service and not quick fast haircuts so when appointments are made, there’s a certain amount of time that is left for that barber to do their best work. I Adrian still works at the barbershop two days a week. If you prefer him, please see his schedule. It would be Tuesday and Wednesday. We do care and except walkins and walk-ins are served on a first come first serve basis with first availability. If this is still some thing you’re not interested in doing we totally understand if you prefer to see a new business for your haircuts. It’s been a pleasure serving you while we had the opportunity.

Been in California for 5 years and it took me several failed attempts to find a good barber but then came Cruz!!! She is hands down the best barber I have ever had! She consistently cuts me hair to perfection. She’s meticulous and on point with every aspect of her cuts. Even as my hair grows out - I’m still impressed by her skills. I live in Lancaster and drive over an hour simply to get my hair cut by Cruz!!! Worth ever mile driven to see her. The entire shop at Iconic is welcoming and friendly.

I have had my hairs cut by Eddie at two previous places and by Cruze as well at another establishment, and I am totally tickled that the two joined forces and opened Iconic Barbershop in a primo spot on Sunset. The vibe is perfect Los Angeles hipster Mom and Pop with excellent street art on the walls and a comfy vibe throughout. As you can see they pay attention to the details and while my skin is red in my white-boy hair carving, Cruze wields a razor with a whisper kiss and didn’t nick me once. I am all for Los Angeles’s Mom and Pop businesses. I am always happy to come by Iconic. It’s affordable, giving the people real LA neighborhood sartorial craftsmanship at its best.
