I had my hairline transplant done just a few days ago, and I am so happy I went with BSG. It was a long day, but they were the most accommodating people. As someone with a disability, you never know how helpful people are going to be, but they went above and beyond to accommodate me and make sure that I was comfortable. If you are looking for a hairline restoration, look no further because these are the best of the best. Thank you to the entire team!

Look closely at the reviews and separate out ones that are for their haircut services and ones that are for their hair loss services. They are only after your money! I had a consult and decided to try their topical hair loss formula - it was awful. Way too thick, pasty, etc - so I immediately said this would not work for me and requested a refund. Was told it was not possible bc this formula was “just for me” … please, it was a generic hair loss formula. $250 totally wasted. Yet, they continued to hound me to try and sell me on one of their hair transplants (have you seen the reviews - I think I’ll pass). Always conveniently having last minute and social media discounts. Don’t waste your time - found a great doctor with a great topical that has yielded incredible results for me.

I had a hair transplant here using the ARTAS robotic system, along with a $5,000 PRP package. The staff were friendly and the space was stylish, but the outcome was a major disappointment. The procedure was relatively painless and didn’t require shaving, which made recovery easy. But that’s where the positives end. The transplant yielded little to no visible results, and I later learned from a highly respected FUE surgeon in Europe that my donor area was permanently overharvested. He estimated that only a few hundred hairs grew, and that the recipient zone had hardened—likely due to poor technique or graft failure. This was a $15,000 mistake I can’t undo. I also felt pressured into the PRP add-on, which did nothing. Looking back, the experience felt more like a luxury grooming session than a serious medical procedure. If you’re considering a transplant, research beyond Google reviews. Consult surgeons who specialize in manual FUE, and be very cautious with robotic systems and aggressive upselling. You only get one donor area. Don’t waste it.

I stopped in after living in the area for many years. They did not have a walk in appointment available however they were able to get me an appointment to get my hair cut 2 hours later. I am so glad I stopped in. This place is definitely one of West Hollywood’s hidden gems. A totally cool place to vibe. The concierges at the front desk were awesome and I reviewed the best haircut I have ever had.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BSG. I underwent an FUE procedure here with the expectation of achieving a fuller, natural-looking head of hair, as promised during my consultation. Unfortunately, the results have been nothing short of devastating. Not only did I not achieve the desired results, but my hair loss has actually worsened since the procedure. I feel completely misled by the clinic’s claims and assurances. During the consultation, I was given unrealistic promises about the success rate and outcomes of the procedure, which now feel like nothing more than a sales pitch to get my money. I trusted this clinic to deliver on their promises, but instead, I’m left feeling regretful, frustrated, and significantly out of pocket. I cannot recommend BSG to anyone considering a hair restoration procedure. Please do your research carefully and choose a clinic that prioritizes honesty and patient care over profit.

BSG is awesome! BSG is home to extremely talented and kind barbers. BSG is the only barbershop I’ve ever encountered which has the enormous benefit of an in-house doctor (Dr. Justin Rome). Let me say that again: because BSG also specializes in various methods of hair restoration (both surgical and non-surgical), they have a doctor and an entire team of medical hair restoration specialists on site, in addition to their team of master barbers and stylists. The BSG shop is a beautifully designed, relaxing space where I’ve instantly felt at home ever since my first visit. BSG’s services in both the barbershop and the hair restoration division are of the highest quality and are reasonably priced, and I intend to remain a regular BSG client forever. I started going to BSG almost 2 years ago for a consultation with Dr. Rome about some scalp problems I was having due to a combination of other medical conditions (both physical and psychological). At the time, I felt completely overwhelmed by and unable to manage my scalp problems, was embarrassed to go outside without a hat, and was petrified at the prospect of someone catching a glimpse of my head. Dr. Rome was able to leverage his medical expertise and training to give me excellent medical advice, in a completely supportive and nonjudgmental fashion, on handling my scalp condition in relation to both my chronic illness (type 1 diabetes) and my mental health challenges, which were both aggravating my scalp condition. Dr. Rome took time to ask questions in order to completely understand my problems and desires, then formulated a plan for healing my scalp and giving me back my healthy head of hair. Dr. Rome then communicated my issues to the barber, who was able to masterfully adjust his work in order to cover up my scalp problems and allow them to heal. BSG’s barbers have experience managing a broad variety of hair problems, and have consistently been very friendly, very supportive, and of course given me great haircuts. Subsequently, the BSG team have helped me heal my scalp to the point where I have regained my confidence in my appearance, I no longer have to wear a hat in public or worry about people seeing my scalp problems, and I can once again get tight fade cuts without fear or anxiety. Furthermore, BSG, under Dr. Rome’s careful direction, has created an excellent homemade line of hair care products (from shampoo and conditioner to hair serum and pomade), all of which have helped soothe and heal my scalp problems, and which I use for my hair care and hairstyling on a daily basis. I don’t know of any other barbershop or salon that has created their own line of physician-designed hair care products. These products are composed of carefully selected ingredients of the highest quality, and outperform every other hair product I’ve ever used in their respective categories. I have complete confidence that the BSG team is handling and will be able to handle any and every hair care or hair health challenge that comes up for me, and I couldn’t be happier to have found them. BSG is the best hair care team I could ever imagine or ask for. BSG’s kind, supportive, and talented staff have a tangible passion for their work and make me feel completely at home whenever I stop by for a haircut. Thank you to the entire BSG team for materially improving my quality of life!

Was referred to Barbers Guild by a good friend and have no plans to go anywhere else in the future! I am very particular about my hair and haircuts and since making to LA last fall, haven’t had the best luck finding a good barber until now. Entire experience from walking in and being greeted by Jeffrey and the front desk team to the haircut itself was top tier service. The entire team was attentive to my needs from offering water, cold brew, and beer / wine to my barber / stylist Roswell, who took the time to review my hair, asked me questions about what I wanted, and even took the time to pull up pictures to show me recommendations. Hot shave at the end was an awesome touch. Haircut turned out amazing and I walked out feeling great. Definitely a go to in LA for a good cut.

Walking into BSG feels like you are being transported back into history, with a sophisticated and elevated touch that left a lasting impression on me. I was greeted with a smile and delicious cold brew from the concierge and felt right at home in this eclectic environment (they have a 1976 motorcycle on display in the middle of the barbershop, need I say more?) Their services range from barbershop to full hair restoration services - a one stop shop for all of your hair needs! I highly recommend checking them out.

Barber Surgeons Guild is the best place to get a haircut or any other grooming services in town. I tried out a bunch of different spots and non have come close to the service and quality you get at BSG. The people are so nice every time you come in. I highly recommend Blake if you’re getting a haircut he’s always consistent and just great overall. If you’re looking for a quality haircut with a great service I highly recommend booking an appointment you won’t be disappointed!

Best barbershop in LA!!! I usually leave my haircuts pissed off, but after getting my hair cut by Adam, I felt like a million bucks. Highly recommend, great vibes and awesome staff.
