I needed a beard trim while visiting family in Walnut Creek, I rang a few different barbers who all said they were too busy (it was 22nd December) I rang Walnut Creek Barber Shop who said they were busy but they would sort me out and just to come down. I walked in and they were extremely busy, but one of the guys had his chair open and sorted me out straight away. Great beard trim very friendly guy and greatt price. I will visit again when I'm next in WC!

Just returned from my haircut with Parker. He listened closely to my preferences. When he finished I was very pleased. Relaxed atmosphere, clean, and excellent service. Two thumbs up.

All the barbers are A players. I was quite satisfied with my haircut. They don't accept digital payments yet, so remember to bring to cash or use one of the nearby ATM machines.

Took my 15 month old for his first haircut yesterday! Moms from all of the moms groups raved about Parker and Patrick so I made an appt with Parker and he did not disappoint. He was patient and kind with my son and did a wonderful job!

Nick is awesome. He has cut both of our boys’ hair (ages 5 and 2) and makes them both feel so comfortable and at ease. He is super patient and kind, cuts their hair quickly (toddler timelines are limited!) and has given them both such great haircuts. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming at the shop. Highly recommend.

there’s multiple guys working here, but nobody beats Jacob. The guys a stud. I’m 20 years old and have been through so many bad hairstylists. I’m also very picky when it comes to my haircut. Jacob goes above and beyond to satisfy me everytime. I get a taper fade or a drop fade and it’s outstanding. I’ve never seen better. It’s grows in well feels great, and even smells great. Then he’ll clean up your beard and mustache free of charge. Oh, AND adds hair freshener and brighter. Highly recommend choosing Jacob Costello as your barber!!!!

I was recommended by a friend to try this place out. I’m always in search of a new barbershop. The feel of this place… a mix of Gran Torino & Barbershop. (It’s not a bad thing, that’s just the atmosphere I get) My barber was Alex. He really listened to my input and gave me suggestions on what to do with my hair. Small talk during the haircut:Taco Bell, golfing, and working out. PRO TIP-Cash only! Know that before booking an appointment online. I’ll probably be back. Who knows when.

Do not get a haircut from CHRIS. Asked for a mid fade with the lowest going to a .5 and the top having a few inches. What I got was a buzzcut around the sides with minimal blending (including a line of hair cut way smaller that follows the back of my head). Had to go lower on the top to try to compensate but the fact that he ran the buzz up so high left a landing strip of hair on the top so it looks bad either way.

This is quickly becoming my go-to. Got lucky in finding Vince. He always seems to get it right, which ends up being harder than I thought based on some other cuts. He takes his time, listens to your needs, and gives you a fresh, professional haircut. If you're coming for the first time, just put your name down on the chalkboard near the door and they set you up. You're always greeted with a hi and a smile from the staff. Prices are cheaper than comparable shops, but you lose nothing on quality or service.
