I’ve been getting my hair cut here by Johnny G. For about a year now and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. He’s welcoming and professional and does a great job with my hair. Ive also never had to wait after my appointment start time for him to see me. I would recommend this shop to anybody who’s tired of the runaround that other barbershops give you.

We found Gio over a year ago, since my teen son was looking for someone who could give him a great haircut, and we found it with Gio! He’s super nice, doesn’t rush, and does a great job. He cares about his work, pays attention to the details and takes time to make sure the cut comes out precise and clean. Gio is one of the younger barbers Who is in tune to current styles and we look forward to seeing him every time. We highly recommend Gio!

Raul is amazing at what he does. He’s incredibly skilled, precise, and really knows how to cut hair perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and pays attention to every detail. My hair came out exactly how I wanted clean, fresh, and better than I expected. If you’re looking for someone who’s truly talented and consistent, Raul is the one. Highly recommend!!!

I came to Gio For the first time about half a year ago. I saw the reviews and decided to come check him out. He was pure talent and flawless. Hands down the best barber of the bay. He is very precise and gets you exactly what you ask for . If you’re looking for a new barber I would highly recommend checking out Gio!! ( I got a Mullet with tapers and it grew out phenomenal)

Raul made me feel incredibly comfortable from the moment I sat in his chair. The atmosphere is professional yet relaxed, and he’s so easy to talk to. Beyond the great vibe, his haircuts are top-tier. I had an amazing experience at this barbershop! As soon as I walked in, the place felt clean, welcoming, and professional. My barber really took their time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure I got exactly the haircut I wanted. The fade came out super clean, the lineup was sharp, and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. What I liked most is that they didn’t rush—they checked in with me during the cut and made sure everything looked perfect before I left. The vibe in the shop was great too… good music, good energy, and everyone there was friendly. Definitely my new go-to spot. Highly recommend my new barber Raul if you want a fresh cut

I’ve been getting my haircuts from Johnny for years, even back when he was still at Urban Barber College in Concord. Now he’s a manager at Hi-Definition Barbershop on Boulevard Way in Walnut Creek, and I’m proud to say he’s still the only barber I trust. He’s patient, understanding, creative, and extremely skilled at what he does. He always listens, gives honest feedback, and genuinely cares about delivering the best haircut every single time. One thing that really stood out to me was when I offered to pay ahead of time before an appointment, he told me to wait until after the cut so I could make sure I was happy with the result. That level of honesty and professionalism is rare. My favorite part of every visit is the hot lather neck shave. It’s the perfect finishing touch and something I always look forward to.
