⭐️ Rock-N-Roll Barbershop Vibes on Ventura Great Service, Clean Shop & Always Reliable I’ve been getting my haircuts at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Sherman Oaks for years, and this spot continues to deliver every single time. The location is perfect right on Ventura Blvd, easy to find, and surrounded by plenty of street parking options. There is a small private parking lot behind the shop, but it’s usually full since it only fits a few cars (around six including the disabled spot). No big deal though — you can always find metered parking on Ventura or free spots on the nearby residential streets like Ventura Canyon Ave or the parallel streets. From the moment you walk in, the experience here is consistently positive. The front desk team always greets you nicely, the energy is welcoming, and the place is clean, organized, and surprisingly spacious. The rock-themed décor, wall art, and music playlist (lots of rock & hard rock) give the shop a fun, unique vibe you don’t get in most barbershops. They also carry a big selection of grooming products and gift items if you need something on the go. Booking is super easy through their online system — you can schedule, cancel, or reschedule in seconds. They also send text updates if anything changes, like if your barber is running early or needs to move your appointment. I’ve been getting my cuts with Gigi for years and she’s fantastic — friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and very detail-oriented. The shoulder massage at the end is always a great touch and part of the reason I keep coming back. Overall, Floyd’s Sherman Oaks is a reliable, clean, and fun barbershop with great people and great service. Highly recommended. 💈🔥

Today I have appointment with Jackie today but she can’t come I say it’s fine,they give me another person,He is very very very bad cut my hair , omg my head everywhere is red ,who take it him this job , so so bad my hair

I have been coming to Floyd’s barbershop for years but have never really felt comfortable with a barber until today. I had my first appointment with Quincy today who was an absolute joy. His professionalism and expertise truly made me feel comfortable in the chair. He communicated everything and just had an overall amazing energy that brightened my day. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Quincy!

I’ve been coming here for years because the hair stylists and colorists are very good, and kind. However, after their software crashed when charging me out, a heavy-set woman with long dark hair (not my stylist, but an acting manager) insisted I wasn’t charged until I showed her my banking app. Then she told me I was good to go. Then the next day (today Saturday) someone called me (might have been her, not sure) and was very rude straight into the call. At that point I dished a peppering of rudeness right back at her. She then told me I was a bad customer, she told me to stop coming in, but then gave me a later appointment to get my coloring redone. She was so flustered that she told me to never come back, but then come back later, all in the same venomous huffy tone. Make up your mind. I was not at all upset with the colorist when the color didn’t come out right, after all, it’s all trial and error. But I am never coming back to this place due to the overly rude person who called me today.

The Sherman Oaks location is very convenient for us. There are a couple parking spots in the alley behind the shop and ample street parking. They play fun music in the salon! Stephanie is my son’s stylist. She listens and asks questions and delivers great hair cuts on him!

My husband came out with the BEST haircut he ever has had! He has very thick hair and it is hard to cut to get a nice length without it being either way too short or way too unruly. However, Camille did such an amazing job! Normally, my husband doesn't care what his hair looks like, saying that since I'm the one that looks at him, he wants what I like. However, he is so happy with this cut that we will never go to another place again! 10/10.
