After going to so many barbers that simply couldn't give me the haircut I wanted, I started to cut my own hair 2-3 years ago. I decided that after all that time, I would finally give another barber a chance and started my search for a new barber. After thoroughly reading reviews, searching, and seeing portfolios- I came across Eric here at Brotherhood Shop. He immediately greeted me upon arrival and I told him my story about how I lost faith in barbers because they either cut it too short or leave it too long, they can never get it right.. and told him exactly how I wish i could have it. He asked me questions to ensure he understood me correctly and started doing his thing. He didn't make me feel like I was 'asking for too much.' He was listening actively, asking great questions, and really wanted to be the barber to change my perspective on barbers. He keeps it real and just wants to help his clients. About 45 minutes later, I look at the mirror, and sure enough- the haircut I had been wanting for so many years had finally came to life. This man Eric is a legend. The amounts of compliments that I have received on the haircut were unbelievable and many people even said "This may possibly be the best haircut I have seen you with since we have become friends." Don't trust me? Go see for yourself what this man can do. I am incredibly grateful for him being so open to listening, being patient with me and genuinely wanting me to look great. Thank you!

Huge fan of this place. I came in on a Saturday on a risk since the phone lines were down. As a walk-in, I was expecting to wait awhile. Not too powerfully long after I got there was I in Kev’s chair. I can’t speak for the other guys, but Kev was on point. He also understood the cut and was personable an professional. He only works on the weekends, but that just means I gotta plan for it.

Best haircut I have ever had ! I told my stylist Justin the kind of haircut I normally get and that I was open to suggestions. He took it up a few notches and didn't break the bank either. You get more than your money's worth at this establishment. So nice to have a real man's barbershop in the neighborhood .

Normally I do not write reviews however this is an exception. Andy is by far the most talented haircut ARTIST that I know. Not only was he punctual but he was able to recreate the haircut that I had imagined in my mind. Do yourself a favor and book with him in advance! Also the experience was great because he is pretty great at keeping a convo so there was never an awkward moment. BOOK with him NOW!

I went in the other day for my son’s haircut. Andy did a great job with my son’s fade and line up. He was very professional and fast! I would recommend Andy for haircuts! He’s a very talented barber!

Solid spot, I saw Angel on a whim and boy am I glad I did! He helped me find a new style with my hair that really hit the spot. He's one of the first barbers I've found since I moved here that I trust with my hair!

Angel hooked me up, knew exactly what I wanted and left my low fade on point. I didn’t see any lines and it was a job well-done. Angel is also good with the scissors, I definitely recommend Angel.

Eric Pennington gives me the cut that I've been looking for since leaving Chicago years ago. An attention to detail and a steady hand make him worth the wait and worth the trip to the shop. Extremely talented and knowledgeable about his craft. As long as he's cutting he will be my barber!

Went here 6 times over the last year. The cut was best I got in the area so, solid on that part. The other 5 times I couldn't get a cut cause either no barbers were available to cut aka leaving the shop, asked me to come back in a few hours or when I got there during business hours they were gone. Would love to give them 5 stars cause the cut i did get was good but the amount of change I've put in street parking thinking I was going to get a cut and got turned away has me pretty salty. Would recommend calling ahead of time for availability if you're like me and have a hectic schedule and work around walk ins.
