It was amazing I used to get horrible haircuts at an old barber I used to go. I was worried to switch because I thought I would still have the same experience of horrible haircuts.But no I was wrong here they know what you want and they will take there time to perfect it i highly recommend

Soto came highly recommended by my neighbors on the next door, and they didn't lie. He is a legit barber, with great attention to detail. He helped me cut off 12 inches of my hair to donate for a child's cancer wig, and then proceeded to give me a fresh start with a classic fade. A+ service and man

Average haircut and slightly uneven and patchy. Don’t come here if you want a perfectionist barber. He didn’t wash my hair before haircut and cut it with gel that was on before, talked in his Bluetooth throughout the haircut, and didn’t bother to style my hair when the haircut was over. In retrospect it’s better to spend a little more and get a way more enjoyable experience and even haircut.

Reviewing the haircut I got from a woman at Soto. Really bad experience. Described that I wanted a 0.5 (showing skin). She spent twenty minutes and the hair had barely been cut. She got upset when I asked for a 0.5 again but higher up. On top she asked if I wanted to keep it long or short. I said long, but she didn’t even clean it up - have never experienced that. She cut my sides 0.5 all the way up with no fade and left uneven spots. I left because I was concerned she was upset and would screw it up more.

Trying out new barbers since moving to LA. Place was quite low key, the guy was just on his ear piece speaking on the phone and the lady didn’t chat at all so whilst not unfriendly didn’t feel very welcoming. Haircut was extremely average. Didn’t wet hair and it ended up a bit patchy and hair was everywhere after. Even at 35 bucks there’s much better out there.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Supper happy to see that Fernando continues to have the shop open during this pandemic. Fernando and his wife are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the wellbeing of the customers and work personnel. I just got a haircut here and felt safe and will definitely come back. Haircuts are done outside and there is a nice waiting area. I would highly recommend that you call ahead of time to make an appointment. Awesome family owned place. Fernando and his wife are great. Love coming here. Been coming here since it opened and I will continue to come here.

Got a haircut here on a whim this past Friday. Really good cut at a good price. The owner Soto was my barber and seemed very caring/passionate about what he does. I had a great experience and I highly recommend this spot!

Soto is real gentleman! His wife is solid partner. I'm very happy to see such a couple venture out on their own. But of course I wouldn't have him cut my hair if he wasn't the best. He is. I recommend the barbershop without reservation.
