Margarita was very nice, but I asked for a low fade and provided photos. This is more like a mid fade with lines that are way too hard

We’ve been coming to M&J Barber Shop for about two years now, and I honestly can’t imagine taking my son anywhere else. Mike has been cutting my son’s hair since he was just two years old, and now at four, he still gets excited for his haircuts. Mike is incredibly skilled—he gives my son the cleanest cuts with a perfect straight edge line every time. People are constantly complimenting my son’s haircut and asking where we go because it always looks that good. The attention to detail Mike puts into every cut really shows, and he’s so patient and great with kids. I truly appreciate the consistency and professionalism every visit. M&J is hands down the best, and we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

I ask for a MID DROP FADE , I get a high fade , say don’t touch the top , HE STARTS TO CUT THE TOP. I’m never gonna get a haircut from here again

This shop is great!! Once you book your appointment online you're all set. Their barbers are all very well trained and friendly plus they don't hike the price as a lot of new so called barbers shop in Santa Clarita. Nowadays some other shop will charge you $35+5 tip for a cut 🫣😟🙈. Like the website says passion over profit is truly what you get from this barbershop. I usually get my cut from Luisa or Gerry 👍👍👍.

After searching and trying different barber shops all over Santa Clarita for my sons I have definitely found my new go-to barbershop!! M&J is truly one of the best barbershops in town. It was super easy to book online, I didn't have to wait at all when I got there, that's so important to me because my son is barley 2 + years old. The barbers there are highly experienced. Mike is AMAZING with kids, he is super friendly, skilled and efficient. He always gives my sons the best hair cuts (see photo) he kept my son entertained while doing his job. He pays so much attention to details and does exactly what you ask of him. Over all great atmosphere and very professional. I am referring all the boys in our family to M&J!

Came in at 8:15am on Saturday and didn't get attended until 9:50am. That was only because I asked what time I had to wait until. Once I asked, one of the barbers said the next opening is until 11:30. I said that would have been good to tell me before I waited(I mean I could have asked, but...). Even though, one barber (Manny) did say he can cut my hair but he doesn't do beards. What?! They said you can write your name and come back. As I was doing that a female barber said I can cut your hair. I was hoping her skills were good being it is a barber shop. Unfortunately, I give my haircut a 6/10. If a barber shop is going to work on pretty much appointments and be booked, they should have an online system to verify time slots. Plenty of services can provide that for free. Either way the place was clean and it seemed like a decent environment with repeat clientele. I'm sure since it was Saturday early morning they were backed up and it might have been different on another day and time with a different barber. But based on my experience I'm at a 2.5 stars
