I’ve been getting my haircut with Tina for the past four years and followed her when she got scooped up by Peoples Barbershop. She consistently delivers a great cut and really pays attention to the details for my medium-short haircut and style. I always leave feeling sharp and well taken care of. I like being able to make an appointment online and the free beer is a nice touch.

We love Eman! Eman is great with my 14-year-old son. He really listens to what my son wants and to what mom wants 😉—which isn’t always easy. Eman has such great conversations with my son and really connects with him. My son always leaves feeling confident and his hair always looks great. Thank you, Eman

I had a complete haircut, shampoo, and styling with Tina at Peoples Barber in San Mateo. Tina has been my stylist for more than two years. During the first few appointments she learned my preferences, and since then produced a personalized, sharp-looking haircut every time. She is amiable and easy to converse with. With online appointments at Peoples I never had to wait. The shop was clean and offered free beverages. My experience there has been uniquely refreshing compared to other shops. I definitely recommend Tina at Peoples Barber.

I was referred to this barber shop by a good friend and it has not disappointed me. My primary stylist is Eman and I could not be happier. She is helping me spruce up my look, and her insight on current trends is helping me enjoy my hair…. something I've never paid much attention to. I highly recommend her if you’re looking to update your look. Aside from that, the shop itself is always clean, the team that works there are all cool, and it is easy to get to. Just booked my next appointment!

I always have a great experience here. All members of staff have been courteous, punctual, and friendly. The atmosphere is casual with a great eclectic music selection, and they always offer refreshments while you wait. Speaking of which, wait times are basically nonexistent with appointments. Ruby C. cuts my hair perfectly every time, and I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. I’ve been getting my haircut at People’s Barber in San Mateo for the last few years, and have no intention of changing that now. Truly outstanding service.

I had a haircut with Eman and asked if she could possibly get me in and out within a specific time frame, as I was pressed to make an appointment following my time with her. I offered that she could do a short quick shape up and wouldn’t mind because I hated to make her feel rushed. She insisted that she could give me the works and a wash in time and proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts ever! Super high quality and precise, like she had taken double the time to do it. She is always so kind and cool and professional, and I ALWAYS walk away feeling great about the way the cut looks. I’ve traveled as far as Market st and the Mission to find a barber that is high quality and consistent and never expected the find the best one so close to home. Thanks Eman! You’re a class act and a really great barber!
