We’ve been coming to 44 Palm Barbershop for years and Cruz is the best! He cuts my son’s hair and is always detail-oriented, clean, and professional. Super nice guy and the haircut is perfect every time. Highly recommend him!

We’ve been coming to 44 Palms Barbershop for many years now (two members of our family get their haircuts here regularly) and we’ve always been very happy with the experience. Over time, we’ve gotten to know several of the barbers, and every single visit has been consistently great. Since the shop moved to the new location, the atmosphere has become even cooler: a beautiful, spacious hall, great music playing, and they even offer drinks, which is such a nice touch. Both the younger and the adult member of our family leave happy every time. Super friendly, professional guys who clearly love what they do. Highly recommend!

Cruz is hands down the best barber my son has been to. He’s in high school and has tried several places looking for the perfect fade, but was never fully satisfied—until he found Cruz. The attention to detail, precision, and consistency are on another level. My son finally walks out confident every time. Highly recommend!

Best barbershop in the Bay Area! You can’t go wrong with any of the professional barbers at 44 Palms but Dale is always my go to. Great environment for all ages. Keep up the good work!

Leon at 44 Palms Barber Shop in San Mateo is easily one of the best barbers in the Bay Area. Every cut is clean and consistent, somehow they just keep getting better each time. His attention to detail really shows. Leon is easy to talk to, professional, and someone who genuinely cares about his craft and clients. If you’re looking for a barber you can trust, Leon is the one. Highly recommend, not just for the great cut, but for the thought and vision he puts into every cut.

I’ve been going to Dale for a few years now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. What started as just a haircut turned into a solid friendship, and that says a lot. He knows exactly how I like my cut every time and always delivers-clean, consistent, and on point. I had been searching for a long time for a great barber shop, and I can confidently say that 44 Palms Barber Shop is by far the best in the area. From the moment you walk in, the shop is incredibly welcoming — you immediately feel like part of the community. Dale, and the entire team are true professionals who clearly take great pride in their craft. Their attention to detail really shows in the results. My son and I both go here now and we’re constantly getting compliments on our cuts wherever we go. It’s rare to find a place that combines such a friendly, laid-back environment with this level of skill and consistency. 44 Palms nails it every time. Couldn’t recommend them enough — if you’re looking for a new barber, this is the spot.

I have been going to 44 Palms Barber for over two years now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best barber shops around. The place is immaculate, and the attention to detail is outstanding. All the barbers do excellent work and truly understand what the client is looking for. I've been getting my haircut from Juan, and he always hits the mark perfectly. Additionally, they provide coffee, sodas, water, and snacks, making the wait a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

I’ve met Dale and Joe about 9 years ago and I’ve seen them grow in the barber space and become an important part of the community in Belmont/ San Mateo. I know it probably sounds corny but they aren’t just barbers, they are artists who do this day in and day out. The new location is great and the remodel of the space definitely gives it a welcoming atmosphere. The team at 44 Palms offers a diverse range of barbers with unique styles. I usually go for the works but you have a variety of services you can choose from. Definitely book online, it’s a pain free process to book an appointment. All I can say is I’m excited to see this team grow, you can’t go wrong with any of them!
