I'd say ask for Ernesto, but I dont want you to take my appointment slot. Actually it doesn't matter, all the barbers there do good work. Cost is reasonable and they offer senior and veteran discount. No credit cards. ATM on site

Clean shop good vibes . So I Needed a haircut bad. I walked in and I was just walk in but they were busy . They told me they would be right with me and get someone to cut my hair . There is a guy named David . Been cutting hair for 5 years . I highly recommend him. Good guy , got straight to work as soon as I got in the chair , took his time n did a great job. Keep it up David see you next time brotha .

We have been taking our son to proper for 3 years now and we have a great experience every time. Ernesto is patient friendly, makes our son feel comfortable and does an awesome job cutting his hair every time we go. I love the ease of making an appointment through their booksy site they use for appointments and we never have any issues.

Took son in today after going to several barbers in the past. Was placed with Alejandro. He took his time understanding what my son wanted looking at a few pics. He was super friendly and the shop was clean and had a chill vibe. Son was very happy with his cut. We finally found our barber shop. Pricing also very reasonable. Definitely worth it. They did take us as a walk in and the wait was not too bad but will be booking for convenience with Alejandro again.

Just got a cut from David for the first time and I’m seriously impressed. I went in for a classic shear cut and he nailed it. Super clean, fresh look. David was easy to talk to, made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. The shop itself has a chill vibe and a cool aesthetic that adds to the experience. Definitely found my new go-to barber. I’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend! 💈✂️

I'm pretty shy with my haircut because I don't know anything about hair. I usually float from one place to another but David here really made me feel comfortable in the chair, he's a real one who tells you what would look best and he made the experience fun, instead of awkward which is what I'm used to to. 10/10 I'm going again

By far the best barbershop in the IE. Great professional and respectable atmosphere with stylish decor to match. Owner and staff keep this place spotlessly clean and organized. Every chair had a happy customer with a clean cut. Angel, who takes great pride in his craft hooked me up with an incredible cut that my wife noticed as soon as I stepped in the house. You just can’t go wrong with this barber shop because you get a top notch cut at a very reasonable price. I walked in and was assisted with no hassle. I’ll be sure to book an appointment next time as I see myself as a repeat customer for sure. I’m glad I chose Proper Barber Shop !!!

The Worst haircut experience I’ve ever had. You’re better off just cutting your hair yourself . I DO NOT RECOMMEND . The free beer does not make up for not knowing how to follow directions! Where on earth is this acceptable. I walked in asking for a lineup and bringing my beard to my face to be left dark. He just did what ever the hell he wanted to do.how do you give someone a lineup and not the touch their hairline! Take your business elsewhere if you have a choice

I just wanna say that Sebastian has been the best barber I have been to here so far!! Legit..He always manages to pull of exactly what I ask him to do and it turns out exactly like I request…I’ve had other barbers do some funky line up in the front of my hair without my permission!!! I’m like reallllly, whiteboy with combover, no need for that! lol but yeah here’s sum pic to show u I ain’t blowin smoke!!

Proper barbershop more like improper ! As soon as you come in the first thing they ask you if you have an appointment if you don’t be prepared to wait if you don’t have an appointment they look at you all hostile and don’t want to cut your hair.No customer service at all the barber was new and had trouble cutting my hair he was so nervous that he cut himself while cutting my hair . Also it was extremely hot with out any A/C at all i was completely disappointed with my visit however won’t be back. there’s more options that i will try.
