I’ve never left the review of my life ever, but I’ve also never felt so disrespected in my life ever I went inside and told, bro that I had an appointment and tried to show on my phone and he didn’t say nothing and then I asked dude who was cutting hair and then he also just stares at me and laughs as he looks me up and down and then I went to go sit down and then the first bro says “What was that” Hella rudely as if I didn’t tell him I had an appointment so I was lm good and as l walked out and then as I was walking out he says oh what’s the problem and tries to talk to me and then proceeds to ask me what age I was I told him I was 17 (lm 18) he said oh this is why we have a disconnection and I didn’t get your name and blah blah that he didn’t see my name on the app because I booked with my number. What does that have to do with anything or the way he acted when I walked in? And then he wants to tell me that he feels disrespected cuz l walked out.

Very unprofessional, I made an appointment online at 6pm ( place closed at 7) I went there at 5:45 to find the door locked, the only barber left did not even try to approach and talk to me, I could only talk to him because a costumer leaving open the door for me. Then the barber told me he was the only one left and he has thing to do after finishing his last costumer so he was not going to be able to cut my son’s hair. No sorry, no nothing and he even had the audacity to make it look like it was my fault because I didn’t specify which barber I want. If requiring a barber is necessary why they have the non specify option available. Waste of time.

Asked for a longer fauxhawk, had reference images, and was immediately buzzed down short by Trevonte. I'm not sure if he's never seen a pair of scissors, but his excuse was that the clipper guards don't go that big. Pretty upsetting. Was told to wait for it to grow out to get the length. Yeah like 6 months, Bro..

I just had my hair cut and beard trimmed by Shavin at DW Barbershop. Man, what a great cut and a great experience! He was so much fun to interact with, and his recommendations were spot on. If you live in Oakland and need a great result like mine, go check out DW Barbershop (and ask for Shavin!)

I went to the DW Barbershop in Oakland and it was packed with customers getting their hair styled. It looked like a great barbershop. I did not have time to wait since they were booked for the rest of the day but the next time, I’m in Oakland, I’m planning to make an appointment.

Great experience for my son who got an undercut and lineup for his dreads. The were friendly and made him comfortable during the whole experience, even joked and laughed with him I think we just found our new barber… Mr. Shaven u are awesome.

One of the best cuts I have ever received! Demetrius was amazing and took me in on short notice (same day). I definitely will be returning for my next cut!

Very wonderful place, Will did a great job on my fade. My lil brother got his first cut by Dre, he did an awesome job as well. Thank you both for taking your time, and leaving us both looking fresh. We will see you for our next touch up.

First time at DW to get hair cut. My wife likes the cut so that means it is a great hair cut! This is a neighborhood barbershop catering to folks who want the most modern styles and designs or people like me who want a more traditional look. And kids. Brian did a great job and took his time. I wanted it a little shorter and so he took more time and took off a little more. Nice engaging friendly folks, good music, two TVs on mute.
