I had an amazing experience at Fades & Blades Barbershop. Steve cut my hair, and for a first-time client, he nailed exactly what I wanted with precision. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole atmosphere lively and welcoming. The shop was full, but everything ran smoothly. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever received—highly recommend!

I asked for a fade on the sides going around the head but I wanted my long hair up top to be able to be parted down the middle. So I needed the back of the hair to be long and only some of the edges to be faded. Instead, my hair was cut all the way to the top. So I can't part it down the middle anymore because there is a very small amount of hair to part in the front. Now I have to do a comb over haircut. It was also uneven and there was not a fade. I managed to go back and they said they'd fix it. But they didn't understand what I meant by fade and they said they did a fade. I showed them mlre pictures and they ended up doing another fade but it still didn't blend. But this time my hair was cut even higher up leaving even less hair. They were about to close so I had to leave because I felt bad they stayed open to try ti fix it. But when I asked for a refund they denied it. It is a frustrating experience and it is just hair at the end of the day. But now I have ti change my hairstyle for the next month or so maybe next couple months to get to the length I had it at originally. Just frustrating is all.

I was going here for the first time and Steve’s work is really very professional. He has good behavior and ethics and his work is professional. Anyone who sees his work will understand that he is a professional and he doesn’t need to define . I am very sensitive about my hair and beard and I went to many places, but unfortunately none of them were as good as Steve. In short, he is a professional and that’s it.

I asked for a tapered hairline around my hairline and I have long hair so I asked for it to be thinned. Got no tapered hairline, instead I got a regular taper fade and Jason chopped all my hair off. I walked out with a willie woka haircut. Not hair on top, no double hairline. I now have to go somewhere else to fix it AND still charged me. He knew I was walking out not happy. Worst haircut of my life.

Jose at Fades and Blades is my barber. The shop is on the corner with about a half dozen barber chairs inside. When I arrived there were about a dozen people there, all but one chair filled, the rest seated in and outside the shop. I made an appointment so Jose took me in right away. I recommend customers make an appointment through either the Yelp app or the store’s website. Jose took about a half hour for a skin fade buzz and beard trim. Friendly professional detailed and fast. I highly recommend.

Everyone there is a great barber, but my barber of choice is Evelyn. She always gives me a great cut, I have nothing bad to say about her or anyone else working there. They treat you well when you walk in the door, acknowledge your presence, and if your barber is with a client, they offer you something to drink and make you feel at home, or like you’re with friends. Awesome place. Cash only, please. And tip your barber!

Sako did such an amazing job. Stumbled in there on short notice because I was in desperate need of a beard trim and hair cut (my beard was going wild). Didn’t expect much and was so incredible pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, great service and most importantly a great hair cut and a fantastic beard trim. Will certainly go back there. Place also has the right barbershop ambience. Highly recommend.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Recommended by a friend, surpassed expectations. Dave can cut some hair! Gave my son a perfect flattop, took his time making sure every hair was perfect. Still looks great over a week later, after helmets and pools and showers and rough housing. Can't beat that!
