Got my hair twisted with Chandler. Overall 12/10, Chandler made me feel right at home for the duration of my appointment and the hair turned out more than perfect. 12/10 experience, 12/10 stylist, 12/10 environment. If you’re coming to get your hair twisted please please please book with chandler they work magic.

Their one barber, Jesse is aweful, I can’t speak on their salon services. I came in for a lining and he completely botched it. How do you attempt to cut the absolute worst fade I’ve ever seen when asked for a simple lining? Imagine a taper but instead being blended it’s just shaved bald on the side on the temple and above the ears. I asked for a LINING which means cleaning up the edges. That’s it. Then had the nerves to charge more than what it was on their website that I booked it on. I wish there was an option to give zero stars.

I had an appointment scheduled for my daughter today at 1pm and get called me and said come in at 130 because they were running behind. That was fine, I appreciated the phone call. We get there and we are still waiting. It was 4pm and my daughter was still sitting at the dryer. I ask if they are going to be able to finish her silk press and they told me 2 more hours. I when I questioned why when we’ve been here since 130 they said because they had to wash her hair more than once because she took her braids down at home. When I questioned why it took three hours just to wash hair she said she was double booked and it wasn’t her fault. Well guess what?! As the client it’s not my fault either. They could have scheduled me for another time. They offered me this time, I didn’t ask for it. There was a lot of blame going around for no reason. I have been to this salon and they have been helpful but this will be my last time coming here.

Chandler was my stylist and I loved how my hair came out. He took great care of my Locs and my 2-strand twists came out so good! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylist to book with Chandler!

I have been coming here for about a year now, a very friendly atmosphere. I like that there is a lot of knowledge amongst some of the staff about hair in general. (I have locs. )I went to get my hair done last week. Chandler did a great job of taking care of me!! I was very appreciative that he was able to fit me in at the last minute.

A very professional and pleasant place to get your hair care needs taken care of, especially if you are of African American descent as well as biracial. Maranda graciously slayed my hair upon a moment’s notice for a big event I had to attend and I received several compliments. I have been looking for a salon since moving to Phoenix and now my search is over. There are a plethora of talented employees who work in this shop that can take care of all types of hair care needs and styles from barber, braids to natural styles, and all modern hairstyle trends. Do not hesitate to give them a try because you won’t regret it.

Had a lovely experience at Twisted Manez! Maranda (owner, stylist) is professional, personable and knowledgeable. Booking an appointment was easy and even though my appointment had to be rescheduled, the front desk staff was super sweet and got my appointment request in and booked. My hair looks and feels amazing. Will definitely recommend and I will be returning!

Adam was really good and gentle on my two tender headed girls. It was the first time they ever got braids and didn’t cry! 🥲🥹 They love their hair! He also retwisted my husband’s dreads and did awesome with that too. I booked with him in 2 weeks for me!

It was my first time going to Jesse the Barber with my two boys. I was looking for a new Barber closer to home and found one that knows what I like first impression and skills and highly professional and neat with no corrections needed. He cut both my boys haircuts and lineup was just on point just as I like. I loved it and my boys loved it. When we went home my mom said he did an amazing job and like he already knew what we liked. Mom, knows I’m picky when it comes to my boys. So me and there grandma decided I will be making another appointment and have my other two nephews go to him. Well worth it! I’m happy with his work. Great job where it is do!!👏 I would recommend him a great barber to anyone that would like a great barber. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of being styled by Miss Penny today. I was so pleased I had a last min event come up and I rushed to the website to book last night and there was immediate next day availability. I have visited this establishment plenty of times before and sat in multiple stylist chairs no matter who I go to I always walk out FLAWLESS & feeling myself. This was my first time with her and it was no different. She was working solo today but the vibe and atmosphere was so relaxing. She gives an amazing scalp treatment in the bowl I almost knocked out on her haha. I got a silk press and it was great at the end I had some preference changes I didn’t mention from beginning (my bad) but she made them happen and was not a bit bothered by my late request. I’d definitely recommend her and be honored to sit in her chair again. VERY PROFESSIONAL
