I am a regular walk in… I came an hour after open time door locked nobody there… I called and they said they might’ve just left out and would let me know.. about 2 hrs later right before I was about to call they texted me and said someone was there.. I get there in less than 10 minutes of the text message door still locked and the person no longer responding to text messages or calls… I’m going somewhere else now and probably not coming back since I live in a different city.. I used to come a long ways but this was distasteful

Got hair cut yesterday first time there told guy closest to window trim top and burst fade. He gave me worst hair cut of my life. Definitely not worth the money. Customer service was cool. But hair cut was shit.

Came to Tacoma Stars for the first time for my son to be helped by Ty the barber and we had a great experience! He was communicative through the cut, telling us what he was going to do, when he may need a little extra help keeping our little man still. He really demonstrates that he cares for what he does and making sure his clients leave happy. He also did my husband’s hair yesterday and he came back with a nice cut and had nothing but good things to say. 10/10 would recommend, if you’re looking for a barber - Ty is the guy!

Cut by TyTheBarber 10/10 you can tell this guy really cares about the customer experience and does his research on everything in the barber field. He cut my hair and I immediately booked an appointment for my 2 year old the next day. ( I Recommend booking the hot towel treatment for if you’re an adult) Trust me this is where you want to go!

Ty is an amazing barber! We’re so glad we found him for our 8-year-old son. He’s incredibly consistent, professional, and always takes his time to make sure the cut is just right. Our son feels comfortable and confident after every visit, and it's clear Ty really cares about his work. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled barber!

Took my 9 year old son in for a stylish faux hawk with a design. Came out great he was super happy I got a line up while I was there. Good service great place. You can tell they support the community and the kids in the area. Would recommend. Thanks guys

Took my son to get his FIRST ever hair cut.. he’s been growing his hair for 12 years.. Justin did an amazing job. I was obviously very nervous but my son was very pleased and left very happy. Would recommend and will go back! Thanks Justin!!

The barbers here save your number to their personal phone and call at random times of the night. I went here *ONE* time SEVERAL months ago and calls me to ask me questions. Couldn’t have hung up quicker when it’s hours into the night and you introduce yourself as “Mike the Barber” with nothing to add, especially when it’s after their business hours.

Sorry Thomas but Mike doesn’t work at Tacomastars barbershop no more and has for at least 7-8 months so please don’t write reviews that aren’t true sir it’s bad for business and doesn’t make u look any better ,god bless

Hey, this was such a great experience. I just got back into town and they sorted me with a real clean cut. I've become an instant fan of this barbershop and will recommend them to my friends in the area. It still has that quintessential barbershop charm that I always look for. Walk-ins welcome, great banter and really really good haircuts. If these things are what you're looking for and you need a new shop, this could be it.

I have been to numerous barber shops around Tacoma looking for a good barber who could fade my 4 1/2 yr old son's hair. I had been unsuccessful, till I came here. Kevin the barber, did a great job making my son feel comfortable, he engaged him in small talk, and even though my son was being a wiggle worm, he was able to do a smooth fade and line him up better then anyone else. I was very impressed with Kevin's professionalism, and quality of haircut in such a timely manner. Like I said, We have been looking for a barber for quite some time, and I think we finally found a good barber here. Great job kevin, we will be back!
