Dougan is honestly the best barber I've found in Tacoma and one of the best ever. He pays attention to detail, he's extremely user friendly and easy to talk to, and overall a great communicator as he's working. Dougan makes difficult, technical haircuts look routine. Highly recommend.

I’ve been getting cuts with Emily at Supernova for almost 4 years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! They’re so talented and easy to talk to. Everyone in the salon is friendly and professional, and I’ve always felt at home there. We also bring our toddler now and he loves getting his hair cut there!

Been coming here for probably 15 years. Always happy with my haircuts, beard trims, and shaves. Donny is the best. Been seeing him over a decade. Only guy who I have let cut my hair in that time. Excellent barber. He is also a friendly kindhearted guy.

This place is awesome and Liz did an awesome job. My hair was long and I hadn’t gotten it cut in 4 years and I wasn’t sure what could be done with it. Liz understood what I wanted and did better than I could have hoped for. Very professional, confident, and comforting and I will certainly be back, but I won’t wait 4 years now that I know that I will have awesome results here. Great price too!!

Jana is the best. She listens to what you want and absolutely collaborates with you to give you truly unique cut. She works wonders with fine hair and gives superb product recommendations. People are always asking me where I got my haircut. Hands down this is the best salon in Tacoma.

Major confidence boost! I was so apprehensive to cut my hair. I had been growing it out for a year but had some medical issues causing my hair to fall out. Jana was amazing at assessing the situation and making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She cut a little at a time checking in to see what felt right for me. My hair came out looking thicker and richer. You couldn’t even tell there was thinning. Jana is fantastic and the best at what she does. Compassionate hair care for sure ;)

Clara is hands down the best stylist I have ever had. I'd go as far as to say she is a magus capillus (Latin for hair magician) because she can listen to my rambling attempt to describe what I want, and then she makes it happen better than I could describe. She has saved the bacon of my hair before, and I will never forget that! Overall, the salon is a great environment with great hair artists. I recommend being cared for by their team.
