Got my haircut from Jon and he didn't disappoint. Friendly service and asks questions about how you want your cut to make sure its how you want it to turn out which feels rare these days. If you want a barber that knows how to cut Asian hair, this is the place.

Recently started coming here. My old barber Jon now sits out of here and it made it easier for me to schedule and get to as opposed to going to the east side. Love the spot and ease of scheduling last minute. Super clean spot and easily found parking out front. Great cut as expected. Would recommend if you’re looking for a barber that values your opinion and give you ideas of what cut fits your style.

Very satisfied and pleased with my haircut from Jonathan! I came in for a maintenance cut for my skullet hairstyle and was met with excitement and eagerness to cut/style my hair. I felt heard, respected and welcomed into the shop with great options for availability for a quick appointment on short notice! Definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

If you’re an Asian guy looking for a barber in Capitol Hill who actually understands Asian hair, go to John. After my first haircut with him last year, I’ve followed him to every location he’s worked at. He listens carefully, communicates clearly, and truly understands how Asian hair behaves. He also cuts with maintenance in mind — he knows how your hair will grow out over the next week or two, so it still looks good, not just fresh for the moment. Highly recommend!

Jon (guillotinebarber) goes absolutely above and beyond to make sure you leave the shop looking incredible. He has great attention to detail and always makes the atmosphere light and casual. Definitely recommend my guy Jon to anyone that needs a fresh fade.

Jon is my go to hair stylist/ barber. He pays more attention to detail than any other barber I’ve been to. When I have an idea of a type of haircut I want, he always gets it right. Plus he’s also just a cool, nice person. Would highly recommend. 👍👍

Great atmosphere. The shop has a modern vintage vibe to it. Book a cut with my boy Jon Viray. He does an exceptional job but really knows how to connect with his clients.
