I have been going to Lloyd for decades. That fact alone should document a five-star rating. But a few words follow: Lloyd is the best barber I have ever gone to; he is an expert at the profession and ALSO knows honors its history and traditions. Great guy to talk to also. Barbers used to be important parts of the social fabric of a region. Lloyd still is.

I took my 92 year old father to see Lloyd, and Lloyd took great care of him! He gave him a great cut and gave him great customer service. He really took his time with him and made him feel great!

Avoid Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Price I recently visited this barbershop, and it was a major letdown. The barber (I didn't catch his name, but he was an older gentleman) went straight into cutting my hair without even considering what style I wanted or discussing my preferences. There was no consultation or attempt to align the cut with what I had in mind. To make matters worse, the price was way too high for the level of quality I received -- over $50. If you're looking for a more thoughtful, personalized haircut, I recommend looking elsewhere. I didn't feel like I got the attention or skill I paid for. Overall, I won't be coming back.

Excellent barber shop with lots of different time slots for availability. Lloyd did a great job with the cut and was wonderful to chat with! Booked a last minute 6:45am time slot as I was in town for work, was in and out in 30min, and ready to go for the week. Will definitely come back when I am in Seattle. Thank you!

Lloyd is fantastic and I'm so glad I found him. He is easily the best barber I've had and knows how to cut my hair so that it will grow well into the cut. In the 30+ years I've been getting haircuts it's always been just a question of which clipper number I used and then the barber does most of everything with it. Lloyd knows hair more than anyone I've ever met. He's also told me that he's looking to open a new barber school and I hope he can attract a lot of students because it's clear that his level of training is hard to come by these days.

Lloyd is a classic and an old-school type of Barber. He is very welcoming, friendly, sharp, and wise. I just moved in Seattle and was lucky to find his shop. He is really passionate about what he is doing, and he is also considering starting a Barber school for which I give him a wholehearted support. This is my second time at his shop and he charged me reasonably on the first time and even cheaper than the listed price the second time. All the respect, Lloyd.

Lloyd is highly professional, highly skilled, well-trained, and friendly. His level of experience and training is hard to match. The environment is clean, well organized, and easy to find on the ground floor lobby of the building. The entire experience, from booking the appointment online to getting the haircut was highly efficient (I was in and out in half an hour). Thank you, Lloyd for the superb haircut!

I have seen Lloyd about 10 times now and he is amazing. After the first haircut with him, I knew I had found the right guy. His experience and knowledge about how to cut hair shows in his haircuts. If you want a good haircut, go see him!
