Jesse is the best stylist I have ever gone to! Not only did she go above and beyond with my hair, she was so kind and welcoming and fun to hangout with for several hours! I went into the salon with years of dark drown dye on my hair (almost black), so I really expected to walk out today with orange hair with the plan to go back for another process. I can’t even believe it but Jesse got me to my desired blonde today!!! I am beyond happy with this hair transformation and with my experience in her salon. I felt so comfortable the whole time, and it felt like I’d known her for a long time! Jesse - thank you SO much for doing my hair! I am so so happy and loved our time together chatting away!! Seriously, I cannot recommend her enough! 🥰

I really love this place. This no-frills barber shop will give you a perfectly lined-up cut! Staff was friendly and I love supporting local. They only have one price on the wall: $20! No hassling. Cash only.

For years I’ve been driving by. No longer! Jess won me over when he said he can do a fade over the phone. I’m a new fan of his craft, hospitality and demeanor. He’s had his shop for 17 years plus! I was considering my friends at Scotch & Pine or the crew at Old Habits but for $18 (cash only) and done in less than 20 minutes, I can get 3 cuts here over the others. I’ll splurge at the others but for a monthly cut, this will do. Thanks Jess - your a gem of a master barber.

Walk-ins only, cash-only, short hair only, and $18 for a haircut in January of 2022. Jess does a great job! He gave me the cheapest haircut I've found in Seattle, but probably the best. He is extremely fast (probably took about 20 minutes with me), which allows him to turn his chair over quickly, and I assume helps him keep his prices low. But don't let his speed fool you--he has better attention to detail than any other place I've been to recently. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and there was a constant one to two person line waiting for a cut. The vibe of the shop is great, Jess is super friendly, and listening to his clippers and scissors while I waited was an ASMR treat.

Jess Barber Shop is a clean environment. His quality and precision on cutting hair will have me coming back again for my haircut. It's a cash only but the great friendly service and the cost for a haircut will have me coming back again soon.

Jess is back open after a long closure due to the pandemic!! So great to get a haircut from him after all this time. In terms of COVID protocol, he was wearing a double mask and had the door open. I didn't see a sign about masks, but the other person had theirs on as well and I wore mine. If you've been missing a haircut from Jess, go see him!
