Great experience! Best haircut my son has ever had, and he is VERY picky. He walked out with the biggest smile and was so happy with how it turned out. He’s had so many barbers mess up his hair before, but Iain absolutely nailed it. Iain really listens and takes his time to get everything just right. He’s the only one my son will go to now. Highly recommend!

Great cut in a 2-chair, plain/Jane barber shop that’s been in the family since 1964. I believe Iain is the founder’s grandson. Basic cuts are $37 which is relatively inexpensive for the Seattle area. Well worth it for the quality of cut!

Have been here twice, honestly had a great first time with Ian who did my hair justice. He took his time and really paid attention to the details. I thought I’d get the same treatment there when I went back again but had Tim as my barber. Figured it’d be a similar result but I was defffiniteky wrong there. I asked for a little off the top and he took almost half my hair to the point where I can’t even style it as normal. Worst part is I normally watch but he had me facing away from the mirror so I didn’t even notice it till I got home. As other reviews have mentioned, best stick to going when Ian’s there for a better cut.

I'm sorry you had a poor experience with tim. Tim has since retired.

Sign says open at 9a and after waiting around for 25 min, Tim still never showed up. There were 3 of us waiting until one by one we gave up. Waste of time and waste of bus fare to get there. I won't be back. Not going to risk getting burned again.

The gentleman who cut my hair was a really gentleman and cute guy. However he did not did the style I requested, even after I asked him to change what he was doing, he said “yes that is it”.

Excellent fade for half the cost of other spots close by. Lain went about the haircut with obvious care and expertise. Come here and support local business!!

I ended up here for a quick neck trim. Iain was quick and efficient. Solid snip and no awkward chat. 4 other customers came in while I was getting my trim and I never felt like my service was being rushed. I will definitely come back!

Please please please spare yourselves the disappointment of going to this nightmarish barber shop. I genuinely do not know if there exist words in the English language to properly describe the abhorrent and vile quality of the haircut they gave me. I never write reviews on Google, but anyone who even glimpses at my hair would understand in a moment why this is an exception. I am going to make it my life’s mission to ensure as little people as possible get their lives ruined like me. If you have a five year old sibling at home, give them the clippers and tell them to have fun; you’ll leave with a better result than wasting your money at this place.

Don’t wanna be rude here, but genuinely don’t want people to fall into the same mistake I made. I asked for half an inch of the top, and instead I basically have nothing now. Please don’t let the price fool you into coming here, go somewhere proper where the barbers can give you what you ask

First barber shop I've been to since moving to Seattle. My hair and beard were a mess, but Ian was up to the challenge. He listened to what I wanted and went to work. 3 more customers came in while I was getting cut, and I didn't feel like Ian rushed at all. He kept going back and working on the fade I asked for. I'm always cautious when asking for a beard trim, as I usually grow for about a year. Ian set me up to continue growing. I'll be back.
