95th is a GREAT modern barbershop. It's very clean, there's always sports playing on the big TV, and the barbers are friendly and give excellent, efficient haircuts.

Whoever thinks $40 for a basic haircut is "reasonable" is ridiculous lol. I was skeptical when I saw the price, but it was worth it. It was fast and one of the best haircuts I've received in recent memory. So is $40 a lot for a haircut? In my opinion yes, but not if it's a good cut. You get what you pay for.

If you’re looking for a spot that gives great cuts without hassle, go here without question. The owner (Al) got the picture I showed him of the haircut I wanted perfectly. The following times I showed up, he remembered me and gave me the same cut. All the barbers are chill and friendly. I strongly recommend this place. Just be chill and let the barbers know what you want and they will execute it easy.

Took my teenage son here for the first time today. He usually goes to Wedgwood Barber and they do a good job, but they're closed on Sundays. The cut he got today was really sharp, they did meticulous work and he looks great. All the barber did was quickly glance at the photo he showed them (same photo he shows wherever he goes) and proceeded to give him a cut that came closer to the photo than anyone else has. They're a little pricier than Wedgwood but worth it. Will be back.

Never posted a review before. 56 years old and my son got the worst haircut I've ever seen. I showed Al a few pictures and explained a few things about the haircut. He cut my sons hair for maybe ten minutes for $40. Didn't even anything out. Didn't follow the few asks we made and when we asked very nicely and even apologetically for our requests to be followed, he then butchered the rest of the cut. I didn't complain, tipped him and thanked him anyway and he didn't even respond to my gestures. 1 star is too high!

I’ve been going here getting haircuts from Al since I was 14yrs old. I am now 25. I used to live by the shop, but now live a ways away and continue to go to Al. Not trying to bash on any barbershops or anything but anytime I've tried others they don’t come close to what Al does. I’ll go back to Al with a hack job as a haircut and he’ll fix it right up without saying anything about me trying out another barbershop. That’s happened twice now (maybe more, it’s embarrassing to admit). I couldn’t ask for a better barber. There’s been times I’ll think to myself, “what if Al decides to move from here? I’d be screwed.” It’s kinda funny how us guys think about stuff like this - how hair is for us what makeup is for women! I could yap on and on. I’ll end it here. Al, thank you for the life changing haircuts man.

Al and the other Guys are all great barbers, they really care about what you look like when you walk out the door. There has been a barber shop in this location since at least the 60’s , it was where the neighborhood boys and my brother and I received our crew cuts after school. I highly recommend The 95th St. Barber Shop.

Overpriced for uneven haircuts. Have had my hairline messed up by 3 different barbers here consistently. Have said I need my fades short and tight, yet end up having to get my hair cut again in a week because it's not cut short enough. Have had a simple haircut take an hour telling the barber to fix uneven spots. When you're paying $40+ for a haircut at a barber shop, you should at least be getting an even line up and desired length. At this point feel like they intentionally don't cut hair as short as requested so you have to come back sooner. Scam. Not worth the money or time coming here. Guys here have huge egos for mediocre work. Mo, one of the barbers here, had the nerve to say "I was missing/didn't have hair in that spot" when he took too much hair off of my hairline. I did, until you cut too far into my hairline. They will not only insult you, but lie to cover up their bad work. Dishonest and disrespectful. Had to quite literally sit and argue with this person about how they messed up and needed to fix the line they screwed up. Embarrassing behavior. Watching this shop scramble to have people leave good reviews to hide their bad ones further down the page should speak volumes.

Best barber in town, took my 2 very loud boys there and they were all very kind and patient. Saad is a great barber and Moe was distracting my son to get it over with. I 100% recommend going there. You wont regret it! & you won’t find any better. thank you for the amazing service. i appreciate it, never experienced this much kindness before.
