First of all I went in for the first time and had to wait 5-10 minutes just for my haircut (it was an appointment). Then they completely forgot about the hair wash (now yes I did forget to remind them but it showed on the signature haircut) I paid the money but then I remembered as I was walking out that they had forgotten. I came back and asked if they could do anything and they offered to switch the cut to a fast cut (which still had a hair wash in it) I never got the hair wash and they weren’t willing to go lower on price or wash my hair.
Owner's response
Hi Panache,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it is to arrive for a scheduled appointment, experience a delay, and then not receive all elements of the service you booked and paid for.

The hair wash is a standard part of our signature haircut, and it should not have been missed or require you to ask for it afterward. We appreciate you bringing it to our team’s attention before leaving, and we regret that the resolution offered did not meet expectations. That’s not the level of clarity or service we aim to provide.

Your feedback has been shared with our HQ team, and someone will be in touch to follow up. We appreciate you sharing this feedback with us.

Best,
Weldon Barber

I used to really like Sammaish Weldon Barber, but I won’t be going back anymore—they’ve completely lost their sense of time (it feels like there may have been a management change). On my last two visits, I was made to wait 10–15 minutes, only to be told afterward that the wait would be even longer. There wasn’t even the courtesy of a message to let me know they were running late. At this point, it’s just not worth the hassle.

Tittu,

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We understand how frustrating it is to arrive for an appointment on time and then experience extended waits without communication. That’s not acceptable, and we take full responsibility for the inconvenience you experienced on your last two visits. We’re reviewing our scheduling and client communication practices to prevent this moving forward. Someone from our headquarters team will be reaching out to you directly to follow up. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

All the best,
Weldon Barber

I had a really good experience with hairstylist Leilani. She was very patient with my son and listened carefully to all my suggestions. She took the time to understand his hair type and gave him a clean, neat haircut that suited him perfectly. I truly appreciate her calm approach and attention to detail. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend her.

This was the first time I had Jack cut my hair and he was awesome. Easy to talk to and impeccable job. One of the best fades I’ve gotten. And he recommended a new product, which smells great. Fantastic experience.

Disappointed with the Experience – Not Worth the Price I visited this salon after my hair transplant surgery, hoping to get professional advice and a proper haircut. While the stylist was courteous and offered some guidance, I was advised to grow my hair out more before getting the style I wanted. Instead, he did a quick trim/cleanup that lasted no more than 15 minutes — no hair wash, no styling, nothing close to what you’d expect from a “signature cut.” To my surprise, I was charged $75 for this minimal service. It felt overpriced and underwhelming, especially considering the lack of effort or attention to detail. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling more like I was rushed out than taken care of. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place based on my experience. Update 1: After reading the owner’s response, it only reinforced my concern that the staff lacks proper training and customer awareness. I ended up paying a premium just to be told I didn’t need a haircut — no real service provided, no value delivered. Needless to say, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Hi Parmeet,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your visit left you feeling disappointed—it’s always our goal for clients to leave Weldon Barber feeling confident and well cared for.

In situations like yours, especially following a hair transplant, our barbers aim to offer honest, professional guidance based on what will be best for your hair long-term. In this case, it sounds like your barber recommended holding off on a full restyle until your hair had more time to grow in. While we understand that may not have been what you were hoping to hear, that advice was given with your end goal in mind.

That said, we recognize that expectations matter. Even when a more minimal service is appropriate, we want every client to feel like the experience matches the value of their time and investment. If that didn’t come across, we sincerely regret that.

We appreciate your feedback—it helps us reflect and improve how we communicate during consultations, especially when recommendations don’t align with what someone was initially expecting. If you’d be open to a follow-up conversation, we’d value the opportunity to connect and learn more, please email us at contact@weldonbarber.com.

All the best,
Weldon Barber

This location looks brand new and surrounded by a bunch of other good stores. Perfect to pop in while your out running errands. All the staff is super nice and personable. Prices are reasonable and the services offered are top notch. I’ve been seeing Leilani the last couple months and she is absolutely amazing with men’s hair. 10/10 all around
