Hands down the best barber I’ve found since moving here a few years ago. Shane at Dark Heart Barber Collective actually understands cutting men’s hair — this is not just a cosmetologist with a little barber training. He’s a true barber. Booking is easy and straightforward through his website. No waiting around hoping they can squeeze you in — you pick a time, show up, and you’re in the chair. The shop has a great vibe, and he still offers hot shaves (which has been surprisingly hard to find these days). The haircut was perfect, the shave was perfect, and I walked out feeling sharp. I already booked my next appointment and I’m bringing my husband with me — he needs a real barber too. Highly recommended. If you want someone who takes pride in their craft and delivers every time, go see Shane.

I received a great haircut and excellent service!!! 10 outta 10, would recommend! I had not cut my hair in a while, my last barber moved out of state and I have received botched cuts in the past so I always get "pucker factor 10" going to someone new. A friend of mine goes to Dark Heart and recommended Shane to get the deed done. Happy I did!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Shane and Tito made me and my son's first barber experience an absolute pleasure. They are very kind and easy to talk to and are both exceptional in their crafts. So happy to have these guys in the neighborhood. We'll be back for sure!

I’m better at explaining what I don’t want in a haircut than want I want. Shane really seems to speak my language and gets my style. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. Getting my hair cut is really something I look forward to since I started going to Shane. Dark Heart Barbershop has such a good vibe and you can’t help but be in a good mood when you’re there. I recommend Dark Heart to everyone whom wants a quality haircut in a good vibe shop!

Shane has been cutting my hair for just over one year now. I followed him over from the previous shop he was at. I am very particular with who I let cut my hair and Shane has never disappointed. Every cut has been amazing every time. Tito and Shane make an incredible team. The vibe in Dark Heart is super chill and their banter is always fun and entertaining. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, it was tough to find a barbershop that I could enter and feel comfortable. I have always felt welcome and safe to be me around Shane and Tito. A sense of belonging is extremely important and I have that at Dark Heart. Thanks for being so amazing, Shane!!!

I used to go to Shane when he was at Supernova. My man always does an excellent job so I made sure to go to his new place when he moved and got his own shop! I definitely dig the vibe at his new place off 6th and the haircuts are just as awesome!

Shane has been the barber for both of my son’s hair for years now, and always comes through with the looks they are going for. He’s always professional, timely and patient with the boys styles. The location is prime and the shop is clean and welcoming! Can’t recommend Shane enough!

I've been a customer of Tito's since 2020 at Supernova off of Division in Tacoma. He is my go-to for an awesome haircut every four weeks. Tito is super professional and always ensures that my barbering experience is top notch. Tito and Shane are great guys, and the environment in the shop is always a lot of fun and full of good stories/entertainment. I appreciate hard working, business focused individuals who care about their customers - and these guys are it! I'm really glad to see they've started their venture. Three thumbs-up!

I have been getting my hair cut by Shane since he was an apprentice, and he’s the only barber who’s cut my hair since. I couldn’t be happier with how well he’s treated me as a client. I would recommend him to anyone looking for any style of haircut.
