I brought my 2 grandchildren in ages 4 and 7 for haircuts. I saw sign cash and prices but I assumed that there would be a reduction in cost in some way for children. Well not the case! $80 later and an expectation for a tip seemed excessive. My granddaughter age4 only needed a good scissor cut trim 2-3” and bangs. $40 for 10 min. Grandson needed a good scissor cut too and his was more challenging. Great haircut! Again $40. The barbershop is a great asset to the community ;AND if owners more community minded, would offer a break for kids cuts!

I was a longtime customer of Scott's Barbershop until he retired. So happy to find a place in town to get a great haircut. I do miss all the local gossip in Scott's shop though. However, I can practice my Mandarin when Airy cuts my hair.

I recently got a haircut from this barbershop and I asked for a simple low taper. The barber proceeded to give me a high fade instead and my hair looks completely chopped now. They also charge $45 cash only for haircuts which is outrageous considering they didn’t give me what I asked.

Great haircut every time. No fuss service that gets straight to the point, and every barber has been highly skilled. Though I've gone other places, this is the only one that cosistently delivers for me in this area. I've paid more been less happy, and after 18 months in North Bend A&P is my goto barbershop. For the area the price is very reasonable. Great service and a good price. What else can you ask for?

Such a great haircut for my son! He has a tricky neckline and very thick hair. In other places I almost always need to fix something afterwards. It looked so sharp and my son loved it! Plus they were really quick.

I'm torn because I want to keep this secret for myself, but in the spirit of rewarding hard work and talent, I'm dropping 5 stars on this joint. I have bad hair to the point my own wife relentlessly mocks me and will one day divorce me for it. I got my lettuce chopped here at A&P Barbershop, and came out looking pretty good (the highest level my hair can achieve). I took my son, who has inherited my coiffure genes, here at the same time, and they crushed (in the good way) his haircut, too! It's a cool little shop, and they are really nice there. It's cash only, but I enjoy going to the ATM with my son the same way my dad used to take me with him to send faxes. I'm not sure what will happen when the AI Robot Overlords take over and no longer allow us to use cash, but for now this is my new go to place for haircuts.

I took my son here for a fade. We’re new to North Bend and I’m pretty picky about his haircuts, so I did my research. The pics at A&P looked good so we gave it a go. Paul is detail oriented, efficient, and very skilled. It’s the best haircut my son has ever had. —— 12/23 Update We’re 3 haircuts in and I’m still happy with the quality, price, and customer service.

Located in downtown North Bend, this Barbershop will become a regular for the family. My husband stopped by to get his beard and hair cleaned up. He worked quickly and had a light conversation during the cut. It was an overall pleasant experience. We will be back again. It is a CASH-ONLY business. There is an ATM down the street if needed.

Recommend this place for legit barber cuts. Fine attention to detail. I've had both barbers cut my hair and have been happy with end result each time. Don't expect a lot of conversation or Great Clips pricing, just expect a solid cut each time. Nice that they have a big screen with sports playing regularly.

Excellent haircut in a clean and sanitized environment. Paul and Airy were very friendly and accommodating with minimal wait when I happened to stop in. Could not be happier with the haircut I received from Airy which was just what you would expect from an old school barber shop. Meticulous attention to detail trimming around my ears, back of the neck and other details that are often rushed at chain salons. This was my first time supporting this local barber shop but I will definitely be back.
