Best barber ever! The best beard trims and my son is 3 and loves to get his haircut here. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Absolutely the worst barber shop I’ve ever come across. Here’s the real picture. I received a haircut from the “only licensed barber” at this location around a week and a half ago. When I walked in, I had originally come to get my wife’s registration info done next door but I figured it would be good to get my cut done real quick while she finished that up. It took 20-25 minutes to get me in a seat with no other customers waiting prior to me upon walking in. When the cut started, the owner of the shop ended up showing up (Arabic guy) and he seemed very abrasive with the way he interacts with customers and employees alike. He had racially profiled my Latina wife as an Asian woman when he came in and asked out loud who the “Asian girl” was who walked out of the store. Already off to a weird start but get this, during my haircut this licensed barber had been bragging about his accomplishments being a barber of 12 years, previously running his own shops, how satisfied his customers were, how he brings everyone to this shop and the owner disrespects him, how he’s the only one with a license there and the other barbers only come on days where they know inspectors won’t show up, etc - but he gave me contact dermatitis lol. A few days after my haircut, I started having bumps all over the spots that he had cut too short (NEVER had this happen in my life with even more stringent fades at many other barber shops). I’m still suffering through the itchy-ness and oily disgusting feelings for over a week now after my experience at this shop. I feel so gross and disgusting and as an autistic person with sensory issues, it’s just even worse on me than the average person. They clearly don’t wash their hands or clean their clippers very well - whatever it is. I would’ve absolutely expected a “licensed barber with 12 years of experience and running previous shops” to never give me contact dermatitis and I find it quite frankly really gross. The cut was good, I loved how the cut came out. Pricing? Through the roof! I paid over 60$ and tipped 5$ for the cut, which ended up just being a basic fade with a short cut on my top. I asked for a lineup not knowing that I was going to have my cut’s price doubled for a 7 second quick touch up, but here we are. The only cleaning measure I noticed the entire time I was there was that the barber hardly sprayed me with alcohol (and missed several spots) after the cut and that was it. I didn’t notice any barber cleaning stuff for clippers, nothing on any desk or station. Not only did I have a horrible experience but my barber was ranting to me for over 30 minutes straight about his experience being employed here with the owner who constantly tries to micro manage employees (saw it visibly when I was there so I believe it) and how the owner makes racist statements and plays them off as “jokes” such as asking the barber who cut my hair to stop bringing black guys in. Clearly it’s not a joke he just laughs it off and plays it off as a joke. I believe that statement as well because my first 5 seconds seeing the owner, he had racially profiled my wife incorrectly lol. Anyway, I’ll end it off with this summary. This is the real experience at this shop. You can read the 5 star reviews that were probably peer pressured into putting 5 stars or my real experience receiving contact dermatitis, inspection evading unlicensed barbers, a racist + abrasive + hyper controlling owner who doesn’t actually know how to cut hair himself.

had a bad experience with both the haircut and the customer service. Communication was poor from the start, and the barber did not follow my instructions even though I explained clearly (and showed a reference). The fade was uneven and poorly blended, and the overall haircut did not look clean or professional. On top of that, the attitude was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for quality fades or respectful service

Asked for a 1/2 in off and a low taper. Guy who cut my hair was on the phone for the entirety of the haircut. He proceeded to take off 1 1/2 in - 2 in of hair off the top and back and give me an uneven fade. Haircut felt rushed and unprofessional. Prepare to be barraged with every aftershave and cheaply scented spray on the market. High recommend not stepping anywhere near this place. Would give 0 stars if I could.

By far my favorite haircut place I've been to! Hayder is very skilled, polite, and easy-going. I show him a photo of the type of haircut I'm looking for, and he does it even better. One thing I appreciate about his work is his attention to detail. Would definitely recommend this place - skilled barbers, great music, and cool environment. 5/5 for sure!

My son is 7 and I have found our forever barber! The moment we walked in we were welcomed like family and treated as such. We couldn’t be more prepared for picture day this year and for every time after since we found Fade Kings! Thank you so much!
