Stewart is a genius, and an artist with hair, and a wise and compassionate soul with whom to converse. He's always given me great haircuts; but this last time, he had to miraculously re-shape what I had butchered of my bangs when the hair was getting in my eyes, and I couldn't get in to see him... he saved me. Go Stewart!!

Raul nailed it on my desired men’s longer shaped hairstyle with a clean modern fade on the sides and sculpted length on top and back. He made some suggestions that were outside of my normal hairstyle routine and they worked out fantastic. Highly recommend him for a modern men’s haircut.

I had Raul cut my hair, and the overall experience was more than satisfactory. I walked in unsure of why I wanted and Raul gave me plenty of options and walked me through the decisions he was making to give me the best cut possible. Also he was chill and fun to talk to. I will come again for sure.

My experience at Black Cat Barbershop was amazing. The name immediately caught my attention, and once you walk in, you understand exactly why it’s called Black Cat Barbershop , the black cat aesthetic throughout the shop is truly unique and really helps them stand out. For my haircut, I wanted a fade with a little taken off the top, and Raul was the barber who took care of me. He knew exactly what I was asking for and got right to it. This is easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot, because I’m very selective about who I trust to cut my hair. His attention to detail was next level, and he was also great to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this shop, especially Raul to friends and family. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. The entire place had a great vibe. Absolutely worth a five star review!

Black Cat is an amazing barber shop. Upon entering, there is a chill vibe with great music and lots of great decor. My hair and beard always come out amazing after a cut here. I’ve had my hair cut by Stewart and Iyaunna. They both do a great job and really make sure that you’re satisfied with your hair.

Always wanted to check out this shop, but they're booked out. Thankfully Raul, who is newer to the shop, had walk in availability and offered to stay late to get me cut. Super friendly guy and was willing to talk out everything I wanted and even tossed some ideas in when I was conflicted. Haircut turned out amazing. Definitely will be back.

Ode to a Hair Genie--Ashley, The Blond Master Where do I begin? Before coming to Ashley at Black Cat, I had spent thousands at another salon trying to achieve a silvery blond multifaceted look. Mind you, I am a multiracial Latina blessed with strands as dark as night, so I knew going blond would not be easy. However, I did not think it would be impossible with the right care. Consequently, there were times when I left that previous salon in tears only to be told that the look I wanted would be a process. Ten sessions and thousands of dollars later, I was in a hair crisis. That did not happen when I visited Ashley. In fact, the hair transformation I received under Ashley's blonding care in my hair crisis left me in happy tears. My jaw dropped at the shiny brilliant, depth of her work, with the colors carefully melted into my natural hairline. Afterward, my confidence was out of this world. For example, not long after I trusted Ashley with my locks I got into a doctoral program that I thought was a shot in the dark. Moreover, I now have a healthy relationship with my hair again. Notably, Ashley puts the time and detailed effort into my hair that does not go unnoticed. Additionally, she knows how to work with damaged hair so that no further damage is creating, preserving the hair integrity. As she works, you can tell she is a master at her craft. Ashley is an absolute Rockstar, and I recommend her blonding services to anyone looking for sky-high confidence.

I have been a customer of Tiphany for at least 6 years and will stick with her for as long as I can. I hear Stewart is a stand up guy as well. First time in the new location, it is super clean and welcoming. Plenty of places to check out nearby if you end up with a little time before or after your appointment.
