Brandon always comes through with the best cuts and service. He knows exactly what you need and what will make you feel confident. He is a wizard with the clippers. 10/10 would recommend. If you want to walk out feeling good, come to the Empire Barbershop

I’ve been a loyal customer of Empire Barbershop for years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. Due to an emergency, I was one minute late past the "Grace Period" for my appointment. Instead of understanding the situation, I received a text saying my appointment was canceled. Note I've never been more than 10 minutes late to any appointment and this was my first. This was also right before Thanksgiving, adding to the stress. What makes this even more frustrating is that over the years, I’ve had to wait 30 minutes to over an hour for my barber to finish with other customers on multiple occasions without any prior notice or apology. The lack of professionalism and courtesy shown during this incident is unacceptable. A simple phone call or text message to discuss the situation would have been appreciated. ** update** Since you're bringing up character and talk about what was deliberately left out. Maybe people should know how you fell asleep drunk mid way through my haircut. All while neighboring shops called the police because you were too drunk to lock your shop up and keep everything safe. Oh, that's right. I'm the one that waited over an hour until the police came to make sure you were safe.l and your shop didn't get robbed. Not to mention, you cut half of my head and sent me out in the public all because you were too irresponsible and made bad decisions. I won't dive deeper into what happened when the police got there, but if I need to, I will. By the way, I have all the screenshots and receipts to back up what I said. I decided to give Brandon Rodriguez a second chance. Don't be a fool like I was. NEVER AGAIN!!! I hope Empire Barbershop can improve their customer service and show more consideration for their loyal clients in the future.

Darryl Parker – <br><br>First, I want to mention that it is comical that you wrote a 1-star review because I turned you away to service my next client due to you being late for your appointment on Tuesday, November 26th. Now that you have shared your biased experience, I will provide the details that you have deliberately left out in this review. Also, weaponizing your previous experience YEARS later in a present review to throw a tantrum is amusing – this truly shows your questionable character. Unfortunately, being a reoccurring client or a client that has never been late does not bypass the Grace Period Policy, nor does it give you special privileges. It is nothing personal, it is a business practice to ensure smooth business operation. I refuse to play favoritism and do dishonest business by bypassing the Grace Period Policy to clients like yourself that think they are above an established business policy. Furthermore, speaking of doing dishonest business, you owed a cancellation fee due to being late to your appointment and never paid it, but as a courtesy, I waived the cancellation fee since your card had insufficient funds. <br><br>Additionally, texting me that you were running late at 11:57am while your appointment was at 12pm is a clear indicator that you had no regards for my busy schedule as a service provider. You stated via text that you were coming from a doctor appointment and grabbing cash – that is not an emergency. You did not plan accordingly and tried to redirect your frustration at me when your tardiness exceeded the known Grace Period Policy despite being politely informed that your appointment has been cancelled via text, but you showed up to the barbershop anyways. Once signing the Grace Period Policy Reminder via the booking app, it should have been clear to you that being late beyond the grace period results in an automatic cancellation, which was clearly outlined in my policy when you signed – no negotiations. <br><br>Moreover, I am extremely busy during the holiday season, and I make every effort to be mindful of other clients’ time. Accepting a late client would disrupt my entire schedule, as I allocate only one hour per appointment to ensure each client (both new and recurring) has time to settle in (e.g., use the restroom/hang up their personal belongings), time for their consultation, time to view their haircut for final touches before leaving the shop, and time to collect payment – all while cleaning up and preparing for the next client. My Grace Period Policy is in place to respect and honor the time of all clients. Your time is not more valuable than the next client's. Lastly, most barbers and barbershops do not have a grace period—if a client does not show up at the exact time of their appointment, the barber will service the next client/walk-in. All of my clients know that about other barbers/barbershops and appreciate my effort to implement a 10-minute grace period for them. <br>

**update I forgot about this review but thought I'd update it I got my haircut a few more times here and would NOT recommend, most appointments after the first he mostly called me to come in earlier then my scheduled appointment which I did thought it was good customer service, then on one of my last appointments he called me an asked me to come in later so I did which was definitely an inconvenience, then the next appointment he did the same thing except when I showed up 2 hours later he just canceled my appointment and said there was an emergency. Tried rescheduling 2 weeks later and this time he didn't ask if I could come in later he just changed the time of my appointment, so I came in later then 3 minutes before the time he changed it to he changed the time again, then shortly after he just canceled a previous appointment from months prior and didn't tell me his store was closed for the day. The app he uses to book appointments still says I owe him for a haircut I never received and he never called back or emailed back sucks because he gave a pretty good cut. First time customer and would definitely recommend Brandon to anyone, super great service, gave me a full run down on the sanitizing process. He called me to see if I could come in 15 minutes after my appointment which would have been perfectly fine but instead ended up being 30 minutes sooner which was amazing. Did a great job with my cut super satisfied, great music, great atmosphere and super friendly and professional will definitely be back again when I need a cut.

Brandon is hands down one of, if not, the best barber around. At this moment, Brandon is the only barber in the shop, but personally, and I believe many others can agree to this, would only prefer Brandon as their barber anyways. This place lives up to the hype because Brandon is by far the most talented and skilled barber I have seen and matched with his willingness to communicate and chat with his guest puts the icing on the cake, making an overall great experience for his guests. Despite being the only barber, Brandon chooses not to rush through someone’s haircut in order to fit more appointments in a day to make more money, which shows his passion for being a barber and helping his guests have an amazing haircut they can be proud of. Also the price he charges for a haircut is definitely worth the outcome. Trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed

Went in to this place blind the first time, was just looking on google maps for a nearby barber. This place had really good reviews and i went with it. Been booking appointments with Brandon ever since. He knows what he's doing and is just great to be around in general. He won't push you to try different things or styles like my past experiences at other places. In the end he kills it every time, i always leave happy and people outside notice the great work he does. Will be my go-to barbershop for as long as I'm around, give it a try.

Awesome barber shop and great atmosphere. you'll be comfortable regardless of whether you're the type who prefers a nice quiet cut, or someone who enjoys a conversation as a side. I have never had such a great barber in my entire life.Without doubt the best barbershop around, skilled, comfortable, friendly staff, always come out with a fresh haircut as he takes his time. Every-time I leave his shop with fresh cut, I get so many compliment on my haircut.If you want an outstanding Haircut, I highly recommend making an appointment with Brandon. Absolutely brilliant 👍🏼

I’ve been coming to Brandon for years and I always leave with a fresh cut. When I grew my hair out, Brandon always found ways to make it fresh. Same goes for when I cut my hair short. I drive 40 minutes just to get a cut here. The other barbers here are also really good, you won’t leave here disappointed. They also offer walk-ins for your convenience, just call ahead to be placed on the walk-in list. Best barbershop in WA, don’t @ me.

What can I say Brandon has been my barber for about 3 years now has never let me down when he cuts my hair. Always makes sure he takes his time in cutting it making sure everything is perfect. Every time I go in it’s always a good vibe he’s always in a good mood never mad. I would highly recommend him/or barbers if anyone is looking to get a good haircut.

Been going to great clips and not really excited with what I've been getting from them. I was happy to see a new local barbershop pop up and decided to support a small local business. I walked in and was greeted by Brandon, he told me that he's appointment only and gave me his card. i came back two days later on my day off and was not let down. Brandon took a good 45 minutes on my hair, I could tell he really wanted me look my best, the little details he focuses on you can't get at a big chain barbershop. I will be referring my friends here. Thanks again Brandon!
