I went on a chill Sunday on a whim because I reaaaally wanted a haircut. I asked for layers, but the stylist suggested a different cut, saying that my hair would look worse with layers. Mmmmkay. I let her do her thing thinking that maybe she knew something I didn’t. I told her I have wavy hair, please do whatever to not make it feel heavy and thick. She “straightened” my hair before cutting. In quotes because it wasn’t straight at all. The length was straight, the roots were wavy. So what would that do to the haircut? Well, I have no idea what kind of haircut I got, but I really regret paying $80 for it. (Wash/cut/semi-style). She was very rough on my head, told me my hair was very dry, it seemed that I was a trouble customer, she charged extra because my hair was “thick”. I had medium hair length. My hair looked very uneven, no improvement from before. She just might not like to cut women’s hair. That’s the impression I got, because she was unfriendly towards me, but she managed to offer the next gentleman a beer and to watch the football game up close (he declined). The salon itself is very big, has a pool table and fancy kids chairs. I didn’t get her name but she didn’t look like the same lady in many of the photos on here. So I don’t think she would be good about cutting children’s hair. Go to B&B Salon in Shoreline instead! The owner-stylist Tina will do a much better job.

Very disappointing. The stylist was unfriendly, barely spoke to me, and spoke the whole time in Vietnamese with her coworker. After a rushed 10-min light trim, I was charged $50. I will need to get my hair redone elsewhere. I would not recommend this salon.

I went to get my hair trimmed in this place and she cut the back part of my hair then after about 3 minutes said she was done and dont it look good. The other lady said tell your friends. 3 minutes and 30 dollars later i wasnt happy at all. I wanted a trim throughout my hair not just cut the back. I would not recommend this place.

Tina did an excellent job cutting ny hair. I have really thick hair and cowlicks. She texturized and shaved underneath so my hair will lie flat. I am extremely happy with my haircut. My grey hair that is growing out now blends well with remaining dyed hair. I will keep going back to Tina.

Great spot! I’m getting regular compliments on my hair since coming here. Great thorough service for a haircut and a beard trim plus shave. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed too. Highly recommend.

I had a really nice traditional head shave and beard trim, with a scalp treatment/massage. I told them I had sensitive skin and they did a really terrific job and my skin wasn’t irritated at all, which takes diligence when using razors. I enjoyed the hot towels too! Definitely recommend if anyone needs their head shaved. Also nice interior, and super nice and comfortable chairs. I think I even saw a pool table inside. Anyways, I’ll probably do this once a month just for like a mini spa experience.

I had them trim me up for my wedding and it was perfect. Now my wife suggests I return "more often..." since they do such wonderful work. A great local biz and a great place for a hair cut and beard trim

This place is great. My son (4yo) and I come here regularly, and we both have had excellent experiences. The staff are kind, and the haircuts are high quality / good value. The race car seat and TVs are a welcomed bonus for the littles. Easy/flexible scheduling. Tina will be happy to try and fit you in for a walk-in if there’s room, but calling ahead is super easy and fast if you want a guaranteed spot.

Tina has taken care of me for my first 2 visits to this salon/barber. She is fabulous and so full of energy; one cannot help but feed off this great energy. The salon is a block from my house and the cost for a shampoo/haircut was only $20.00 - Win-Win!

Tina is the BEST! She has been cutting my hair for a couple years and I followed her from where she worked before to here. She has a great sense of humor and good attention to detail. She also now cuts my 2 year old sons hair and is great with dealing with him squirming in the chair. Pool table in the waiting area puts this place over the top for me.
