Just amazing and my boys are afolatinos their hair is hard to cut. Do to going in different directions just outstanding service. Please parents don’t you dare try to cut your children hair. Christian just amazing she’ll be my children barber

Went there today for a quick cut and asked for a taper/fade and some off the top, they basically cut almost all my hair hair off on the top and didn’t even give me a fade or taper on the side. Coming here was the worse decision I’ve ever made

Came in with high hopes … left with a choppy haircut. The guy literally rushed through it even though there were no customers and cut off the top even though I told him multiple times that I didn’t want to cut anything off the top. Welp, I decided to just pay and tip but never going back.

My whole family has been coming to this barbershop since the 90s. The staff is astounding, Tony, Tran, Kim are all great! The place has remained consistent since back then. It feels like stepping into a time capsule of Americana history. For anyone who wants to get a sense of where this country has been and wants to celebrate that, this is your spot.

Great decor and even better cuts. They have a popcorn machine for kids and maybe for adults too. Cuts for adults are $25. They don't take card so always take cash but an ATM is available on site but charges $4.50.

We have made this our place! the first was my husband just because my husband was looking for somewhere to get his hair cut since we were new to the area, and he was very happy with his hair, so we came back. Trip number three I also decided to cut and shave some of my hair and Lucy took care of me, she's amazing. She always knows exactly what I want, and my husband regularly has Andrew. They all make our experience SO pleasant... We love coming here.

Came in for a haircut today and Kim took great care of me. I just moved to the area and have been looking for a new barber shop. I have tried a few other places and gotten decent cuts, but this one was by far the best of the 5 in the area I have tried, so I am for sure going to be coming here from now on!

I had cut my hair to a very short style by my very expensive hair stylist that I’ve had for years. I had to cancel twice due my mom needing emergency surgery and then a blood clot. When I finally made it back in and three cuts later instead of a fade she took three minutes and shaved my head with a three blade. I confronted her and she said no haircut ever looks the same. I didn’t know where to go. I considered a barber shop but I thought as a woman I would look ridiculous coming in for a haircut. I asked some of my male friends but they all go on base for their hair so I asked my older brother who had just moved to NC. He said to go to The Famous America Barber across from Lowe’s. He used to go there before his wife learned how to cut his hair. I was so afraid walking in and there she was…Pristine Christine! I showed her what my original haircut looked like and I told her what my stylist said about no haircut looking the same twice. She said that was a lie. I have Christine’s phone number and call to see if she is working and to see if I can come in. I may be the only woman in there and may get one or two quick looks but I love this place!! I met a man at the grocery store and told him where I go!! If you’re a woman and rock short hair this is place to go! STOP PAYING $50+ FOR THE SAME HAIRCUT THAT YOU CAN GET HERE FOR A FANTASTIC PRICE!!!
