Khalid is truly a gem of Arlington. He was my son’s very first barber, and we’ve been loyal clients for over 10 years. Not only is he incredibly skilled- he always makes my son look so handsome- but he’s also a kind and welcoming presence. His shop has a classic, nostalgic charm, with black-and-white tiled floors, comfortable chairs, and a traditional barber pole glowing in the window. It’s everything you’d hope for in an old-school barbershop with heart.

Walked in and “Bells” was available. Sat down and showed him a picture of what im looking for. I didnt bother scrutinizing the cut at the end and went home. My 10 year old asked what happened to my hair soon as i walked in. The fade line was jagged, had a small, almost bald, spots in places. Every line looked like it was made by a drunk or half blind person. Went back the next day and he tried to downplay and blame it on me for not taking the time to look, which I admit i should have had I know how incompetent this guy was. Even after going back and giving him a second chance to fix, the cut came out worse than my own self cuts during the pandemic. First and last time at this place - not sure how a true barber can screw up my basic cut so bad. Worst still is his begrudging attitude when went back to confront him. I regret leaving this guy a 20% tip as they should be paying me for the horrendous “haircut”.

I have a Special Needs daughter that is always welcomed and greeted with open arms. The Barbers are PROFESSIONAL & Friendly. They take their time with her to assure she is comfortable. You can count on a good Vibe and Conversation at Pete’s Barbershop. I would recommend 💯%

I had a truly disappointing experience at this barber shop. The haircut was a complete mess, and it was clear something was off from the start. The barber’s hand was visibly shaking throughout the session, which not only made the entire process uncomfortable but also led to a seriously botched haircut. I left the shop with uneven, messy hair and a lot of frustration. I expected a professional service, but instead, I received a sloppy and unsteady job. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a quality haircut.

Great atmosphere! Great barbers! I personally haven't experienced them all yet. I did have the pleasure to sit in Hugo's chair and he did a fantastic job. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like you are part of the place. Like a traditional shop should be. Go visit them if you get a chance.

Not a fan. I walked into the barbershop, looking for a clean, precise high and tight haircut. The barber, a seemingly experienced and stoic individual, nodded solemnly as I took a seat in the chair. As he began to work with his clippers, the shop was filled with an intense silence, and there was no hint of a mischievous grin on his face. It became evident that he was meticulously focused on his craft so I thought I was getting a good cut. However, when I got home, I was struck by an overwhelming feeling of disappointment. Instead of the well-structured high and tight I had anticipated, he had intentionally or (perhaps not) given me a lopsided and uneven cut that resembled a jagged, uneven line. A blind chimp could have done better. Think about going to another place if you are a regular. The quality is slipping.

This is the best barber shop in the area by far! I tried many other barber shops and was never fully satisfied. A friend recommended Pete's and I will now be a regular customer. The atmosphere is friendly and all barbers are true professionals. I had the pleasure of sitting with Mac, he took exceptional care with my high fade and truly is at the top of his game. He is not alone at Pete's, all other barbers were taking great pride in their work turning out amazing cuts. This is the only place to consider if you're looking for a barber shop.

Reasonable wait times. Some of the barbers are very slow, but still do a decent job. However, Pete is fast and excellent at his craft!! I prefer to only let Pete cut my son's hair. Pete is friendly, professional and has a clean shop, and there is no bad language or obscene talk, so it's good for moms who bring their young sons for cuts. We drive 21 miles to get there passing a lot of other barber shops because it's worth it!

I was a total mom novice of a 9yo boy and I felt completely comfortable. Very nice experience. To top it off, I had to bring my 7 and 4 year old daughters with me and they made everyone feel comfortable. I could tell that when we arrived they changed the channel to make sure it was appropriate for my kids. The previous channel wasn't anything horrible, just some murder mystery/ crime solvers thing, but when we arrived they changed channels right away without me asking. I thought that was very considerate. I also asked some novice questions, like "how often does he need to come back?" And the barbers are nice and the other customers come in too. It was a nice community. My son loved the experience and can't stop looking at his hair 😂😂😂
