Recently moved to the area and on a journey to find a new barber shop. The staffs were nice and seemed efficient. However my haircut itself didn’t turn out to be good. I brought a picture and it was short enough haircut that i thought would be easy to do. I asked for a skin fade side and back and trim top and front. The barber did ok with the side and back fade but when it comes to the top, she didn’t use a scissor for the trimming but a clipper which ended up cutting too much into the side making the top unbalanced right compared to the left. The mid part was untouched so it made into an unintentional off Mohawk which not what i wanted. It was unfortunate because the location and the price point was ideal but based on the cut i probably would not go back.

Mimi did a great job cutting my son’s hair. She was very nice, and she gave him exactly the cut he asked for. We will definitely come back here for our next cut!

I have been going to South Riding Barber Shop since I was a toddler and I am happy to say that I still go today. Mimi and Frank are both incredibly kind and great at their jobs. The wait time is minimal and the haircut is detailed but swift. 10/10, would recommend!!!

They allow walk in appointments! Very nice asian people who love to cut hair. They’re very talkative and friendly. My personal favorite is Mimi. She’s a very kind Vietnamese woman! Definitely recommend coming here. 5 stars!

I had a fantastic experience with MIMI at this barbershop! The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. I have been bringing my boys here for 11 years and Mr. Frank and Mimi are the only ones to have ever cut their hair! They are always warm, welcoming, and make sure my kids look great when they leave. Prices are reasonable and the service is always top tier!

Not only have they been providing outstanding customer support, Impeccable services, and a demonstrated committed work ethic for decades, they have also been a constant reliable and dependable company throughout our entire 27 years of being residents of South riding. I cannot see enough good things about Mimi and Frank. They have been wonderful to our entire family. Frank (and occasionally Mimi) have been cutting my hair about twice a month for 20 years. Both of my sons (20 and 18) have trusted them for years as well. That’s a lot of haircuts. Frank consistently delivers and Mimi has always been clutch in Frank’s absence. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s the best value in town. Don’t hesitate.

I've been going to the South Riding Barber Shop since my wife and I moved here in 2005. We then started bringing our son and daughter, and Frank and Mimi gave them their first haircuts. I love that I don't have to go far for a great haircut at a very reasonable price without leaving the neighborhood. Frank and Mimi feel like family and always welcome us with a smile. I always look forward to my visit.
