Horrible customer service walked in this morning for a much needed haircut and all 3 lady’s working tried refusing me service for who knows what derogatory reason, have some respect and human decency. Nice cut tho👍

Quality barbershop giving good haircuts, with a friendly atmosphere and staff. The only criticism has to do with making appointments because it apparently means nothing. Two times (out of 3 visits) in the last 6 months I've made a Saturday appointment for my son and myself, waited well past the time for the appointment, only to have our barber invite someone without an appointment to his chair. I didn't say anything the first time figuring it was a one time oversight, but the second time we left. This was after the mistake was realized and we were still asked to let the other guy go in front of us. Unfortunately our preferred barber only works weekends, so having to drive 30+ minutes through Manassas Saturday traffic to sit around the shop half the day when your appointment is ignored isn't great. This is typically a busy shop, so the fact that they do appointments is appreciated, and was the primary reason we've been going there for years. Unfortunately now we'll be looking for a new barbershop that is run more efficiently and is closer to home.

Tom. I am sorry that you have had a negative experience at The Barber Shop. I won't make excuses. Your preferred barber works on Saturdays only and he usually schedules his own appointments. There are 4 other barbers on Saturdays and I will offer you a free haircut to give them a try. The 4 other barbers that work Saturdays have a combined 90+ years of experience. I'm sure we can find a barber that can give you and your son great haircuts. If you want to find a place closer to home, give me a call at the shop and I help you find a great barber shop near you. Best barber shop in Manassas, in my opinion. My first haircut was with Frank, and now he trims my beard. Could not ask for a better shop, and every barber in there is nice, courteous, and good at what they do. You won't be disappointed.

I love Christy, she always makes me look fabulous! She’s also a wonderful person to socialize with and I’m always happy to see her! There no better place to get your haircut, highly recommend!!

Definitely get your boys haircut with Christy! She is amazing. Autistic son never lets anyone cut his hair and she didn’t with ease and great techniques for calming.

If you’re getting a basic bald fade or a cut that requires a razor, then do not come here. You want a haircut that’s done professionally? With the quality of barbers who charge by the hour? Go see Jackie at Royal Barber on Andrew dr. Her hair cuts are cheaper and you get what you asked for. You’ll leave her seat clean and happy. I came here with my nephew because he read the reviews online so I took the risk with him. I showed the lady the picture of how I wanted my cut. She replied “okay bald skin fade” I said yes exactly! She started cutting and 10 mins later turns me around to see my hair in the mirror. I thought she was just showing me the progress but it turns out she was done. I told her it’s not like the picture at all it’s not faded can you please make it shorter on the side and fix the top to a #2 like the picture? She says I can try going shorter but we don’t use razors here. I wish she told that before starting on my hair because so far it’s nothing like that picture. Not even a clean fade I could’ve done better at home. She kept trying to fix it and it just kept getting worse. I had to just accept the horrible cut and leave there unhappy and covered in hair because no effort went into at least blowing the hair off. Like I said I’ll stick to Royal barber where you leave clean and get hot towel treatment.

My son loves going to this baber shop. Their pretty popular, so you call ahead to schedule an appointment. Their reasonably priced, and the shop is kept very clean. Everyone who has cut my son's hair has always been extremely nice and very helpful to him in figuring out which hair style he wants. The most important thing to me is just how good they are to my son who has a disability. I would absolutely recommend this baber shop. It's filled with great people who just want their clients to be happy.

Have been here twice. Both times I walked in (appointment would of been smarter) and they were able to squeeze me in. The atmosphere is friendly and they do a great job cutting hair. Had two different barbers and both did great. I plan on continuing to come here.

I have been coming to this barber shop for a long time. All of the barbers do a great job. Whatever style that you want, traditional or current styles or fades, they are able to cut your hair the way that you want it. Each barber takes their time when cutting your hair. After my haircut is finished in this shop, I always walk out as a happy customer.

I have been going here for over 16 years and have never had a bad haircut or a bad experience. Everyone is very friendly, professional and goes above and beyond for a great experience. The price is very competitive and well worth it. I normally see Frank or Ben, but would be comfortable with anyone there cutting my hair. There’s a reason they’ve been in business for as long as they have, because they are very, very good at what they do!
