Came to $poon on a friend’s recommendation — and he absolutely delivered. I went in for a beard trim and walked out with a great-looking beard and a top-notch experience. If you’re looking for a barber in the Herndon area, definitely give $poon a try. I pass plenty of shops driving in from Leesburg, but $poon makes it worth every minute of the trip. Heading into my second appointment now!

Was looking for a new barber in the area and this ain't it. I called ahead saying I was a looking for a hair cut and a guy casually said come on in. Well ok that tells me they're available. When I arrived, a barber said he can cut my hair when he was done with his current guy but when he saw a repeat client walk in, he gave him the chair EVEN THOUGH I WAS WAITING FOR IT. So I had wait a whole nother hour just for this repeat client's clean up trim. When it was finally my turn, I showed the barber my reference photo, clipped on top, mid-skin fade on the sides but I ended up with a kpop boy band look - nothing like the pic. Total fail. Barber talking up other guys but never made me feel welcomed. First and last time here.

Made an appointment for 9am. Showed up at 8:50am and waited until 9:30 before I left. Their cuts looked great so it's. Shame I had to leave. Looks like great prices too. Might try at another time when I have an hour or so to burn

They charged me $40 when they charged everyone else $30. They said I had health hazard hair. When I gave my barber my debit card another barber who was bald, had glasses and a gray beard (also twice my size) got in my face because he thought I wasn’t going to pay. I came here multiple times and they used to be so nice to me so this was really shocking. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I walked in and asked if I could get a haircut. The tall guy with glasses told me, "Yes, I'm available. Just wait 45 minutes." Fast forward an hour and 30 minutes later, he told me, "Hey man, I have an appointment with someone else. If you want, you can wait." That's BS. The guy lied to me and wasted my time. Don't waste your time and money here. He could have told me he has more appointments instead of lying.

This men in this Barbershop are professional and they are family men too. I took my boys there, I didn’t have any appointment but as soon as I walked in , they were ready to help and start cutting my boys hair without waiting. I appreciate the way they made me comfortable even when I was the only woman in the salon. At the end my boys looked great and every $ paid was worth it. Keep the great job going. Oh I won’t forget how they even saw my boys looking at the Bubble gum dispenser, I have no coins on me but this men went above and beyond his service dropped $50 in there so my sons could get the gum., their faces were light up and you made their day and I was greatful.. Salon was clean and good climate. If you looking for a place to go cut your hair or for your boys, don’t look anywhere else, Fade M Up Barbershop got it all. The men in there are amazing and talented altogether. God bless.

Spoon is The Best Hands Down he takes his time! My son didn’t have any cuts and nicks which always irritates me when the person cuts well but hurts my Son! This King did a wonderful job for My Birthday Boy! Reasonable price and was worth a tip! Check him out! Nice shop and cool energy! The other Barbers were pleasant as well!!
